No volume control and it's touch sensitive one for play/tracks/calls. Controls seem the biggest issue with these if you use that a lot - https://www.rtings.com/headphones/reviews/anker/soundcore-li…
Seemingly different earphones although titled the same:
Reviewed ones have 100 hr playback with case, and no ANC.
Linked ones have 35 hr playback with case, and ANC…Ah damn, you're right. Presumably the only difference is the NC part (since it's in the name) but I guess it can't be banked on.
I have the Life A2 NC which are almost identical, mine has 6 mics vs 4 and one other difference I think was the look, slightly.
You absolutely can customise the controls and have volume control 100%.
You need the soundcore app to change the controls.
They are quite good, ANC works well, maybe not quite as strong as soundpeats t2 or 1more comfobuds pro but still very good.
Calls are good, battery life is also good. It's not a bad package around this price point other than not having aptx and being dated.
These have amazing mike noise cancelling so if you are in a noisy place you can easily be heard.
This is what I found:
The Anker Life Dot 2 have disappointing controls. They aren't very intuitive and lack some useful functions, like volume controls. You can tap the touch-sensitive surface on either bud to play and pause audio. A one-second press on the right earbud skips the track forward, while the same command on the left earbud skips the track backward. You can also tap either bud to answer a call or reject a call with a one-second press on either bud. A quick double-tap on either earbud activates your phone's voice assistant. While this control scheme can be a bit confusing at first, there are beeps when the earbuds turn on or off and when they pair with a device.
You can customise the controls with the soundcore app.
That’s good to know. Does that included volume controls?
@nuts: Yes, this is how I have mine configured, unfortunately no single tap though

It's been a while since it sold at $179.95
Any thought on phone call quality?
Release in 2019, so might be getting old?
Is this any good for Teams call? Especially while travelling - by car, train etc.?
Bought it a few days ago to replace my Soundpeats Sonic which after a year has failed to charge. I only had a chance to play with it for a short while but my initial impression was quite positive. You have to download the App to customise the touch setting to your need. Track skip forward, skip backward, play/pause, volume up, volume down as well as noise cancelling modes are the available options. You however can only only pick 4 of the 6 available options as the touch options on the earbugs. Sound is great with many default equaliser settings as well as the option to customise your own equaliser to your listening preference. Active noise cancelling is decent however not as good as the Bose or Sony earphones. Maybe if Bose is a 9/10 for noise cancelling, this would be a 7/10. With music on ANC works well, and can drown out most noises. There are 3 noise cancelling modes, travel, transparency and normal. Battery life is good. The earbuds are comfortable with a range of tips for you to get the right fitting. Took me about 10 minutes to try different tips to get the right fit. Once the fit is right, the earbuds perform very well for the price. I'm quite impressed so far. Have not had a chance to test out the microphone so can't comment on its performance. Hope this helps with your purchasing decision.
The microphone for call reliability is the main concern for me, so if you get a chance to update with your opinion on it that would be appreciated.
Will update when I have the chance, but going from all the reviews I've read/watched before buying the call quality shouldn't be too bad especially for home office Zoom Meeting.
How do you rate it against soundpeats?
Much better than soundpeats in term of fit. Soundpeats sonic keeps falling off despite me trying all different bug sizes. Even sitting down or on a slow walk I could feel the bugs slowly falling out of my ears. Anker life dot2 is much more comfortable and due to the different bug sizes you should be able to find one that fits you. Sound wise the soundpeats sonic has more bass, but I feel with all the customise options the Anker offers, it should give you a better overall listening experience. It's a bit bulkier looking compared to Sonic but you don't noticed it when wearing.
Price back to ,$120
Any external controls on these? (Volume up/down, Track start/stop/previous/next)
