$5 off $25 Spend on Frozen Foods with Flybuys and Barcode/Coupon @ Coles (in-Store or Online)

790
FROZEN5

Hope you're all having a great Saturday! Today's deal, thanks to News Corp Australia and Coles:

(Get $5 off) when you spend $25 on frozen products in one transaction on 17 September, scan your Flybuys card and this barcode in store or enter FROZEN5 at the checkout when you shop online.*

*Offer valid for purchases in-store or online for qualifying orders placed until 11.59pm AEST 17 September 2022. Discount applies after savings and discounts and excludes gift cards, smoking and tobacco products. If you modify your online order outside of the promotional period, the discount will not be upheld. Visit shop.coles.com.au for standard T&Cs. Excludes Coles Express, Door Dash and UberEats purchases. Limit of one redemption per Flybuys account. Voucher must be surrendered at the point of purchase. No rainchecks. Vouchers that have been defaced, damaged, altered, photocopied or have passed their expiry date will not be accepted.

A heads up, that while the T&Cs do state that the offer is limited to one redemption per Flybuys account, as a consequence of the (at times, multiple day-long) delays in registering purchases to a Flybuys account, in practise, you can redeem the offer as many times as you want.

This is particularly relevant on an offer like this, where it's a flat $5 off a minimum spend of $25 (a.k.a, a maximum discount of 20% off, provided you only spend $25), as opposed to the previous unrestricted 20% off deals. It should also be noted that these offers are stackable with any targeted points boosters, such as this.

And these daily deals will continue until Sunday, 2 October 2022. Sunday's deal will be a discount on pet products (hopefully back to the unrestricted 20% discount).

Edit: If the barcode image isn't scanning for anyone, try this one instead.

Awesome, thanks for this. Just modified an online order to get the discount

You know you have young kids when you naturally assume it's a sale on Elsa and Anna products…

    • +9

I'm going to let this one go.

    • Do you wanna build a snowman?

      • +2

        Absolutely not!

  • I scream for ice cream!

    • Brain Freeze!?

    • I was thinking frozen veggies

  • weird, didn't work for me with $27.10 in frozen items, added another item for $3.60 and it did

    • Possibly one of the items is ineligible, you can check online

  • Does it scan instore?

  • +3

The barcode image wouldn't scan but it worked by manually entered the barcode numbers at the register

    • +1

Yea. Typed in by staff and worked👍🏻

      • May I ask where to type in at the register? The staff I met was rude and repeatedly told me it won't work.

        • +1

Late reply, but I asked a staff member at self checkout that I had a barcode that couldn't be scanned and it needed to be entered manually. They loaded up the screen (staff access only) and had me input it.

          • @TEER3X: Obviously the staff I met doesn't know her job and it's much easier for her to say no to customer, causing me to miss out.

Does it work for ice packs? The Brisbane Lions might need some after last night…

    • and I had them to win the premiership

disappointing that murdoch mass media and Coles are collaborating

    • +1

      Don't use it then 💁🏻

    • 🐑

  • Shame it doesn't work on frozen fruit.

    • Where does it say that?

      • I tried an online order with $50 each of several brands and it always said ineligible.

        • Pretty sure it depends on the brand you chose. I confirm that Creative Gourmet worked.

"If the barcode doesn't work, try this one:" Sends link to the most low resolution image ever created in history

    But thanks bro

You can create your own high res barcode with Stocard or a million other apps.

  • Bugger. Missed out
Too late to get to store today.
Store closes at 5pm on Saturday.
    (49 mins from now)

If I do click and collect order now, for pick up for Monday morning, it won't include this discount as it's considered a Mondays buy, when picked up Monday.

I'd easily spend $30 on frozen food, making the 1200 points deal at same time.

    • Are you sure? I did a click and collect online for cleaning products the other day and picked it up two days later and the code worked.

      • I'll try it again, but FlyBuys deals have to to be (usually??) Collected within the same time frame as the offer??

        • Incorrect

          • @TEER3X: Well it’s not totally incorrect. Every fly buy deal for $x spend in a week has that term. I’m sure there may be other offers that have that condition too.

“Eligible online orders must be placed and delivered or collected within the weekly dates to qualify.”

    • +2

Also there's a minimum $50 spend with online orders.

  • Great deal! Was essentially 20% off. Don't bother wasting your time trying to scan those two coupons though and just directly ask someone to type it in.
