ONEX STC Alcantara L Series Gaming Chair $179.99 ($100 off) Delivered @ Costco Online (Membership Required)

80

Hey everyone.

Costco have reduced their price for the ONEX STC Alcantara L Series Gaming Chair by $100 bringing it to $179.99 delivered. I can't seem to find any reviews for the chair but the regular price seems to be $299+ everywhere except one Costco reseller who have changed their price recently, I guess to bring it closer to the Costco price. Pccasegear are trying to sell this for $399 + ~$80 delivery.

Three colours available. Made out of fabric. Load capacity 125kg.

As stated in another Onex post, if you have issues with the chair, Costco are pretty good with warranty.

I just got this yesterday. This is my first gaming chair so I don't know how it compares to popular brands, but definitely way better than the ones in OW and the leather PU ones on display in our local costco. The seat is 80% soft fabric, 20% carbon fibre PU.

    • Thanks for the review: D

    • I think it feels nice, better than pu leather stuff. Feels like a sport car with alcantara seats. I don’t like the arm rest, keeps moving around. Other than that good for the price I say.

  • Was looking to get the $99 DC gaming chair from Centrecom this weekend, and want to know whether this is a better buy.

    • Can you please link the chair you are talking about? I tried looking but the price doesn't seem to match up. People will be more able/willing to help of all the details are here.

      • I'd imagine the fabric on this Onex one would be better than the Semi-PU+PVC cover on the DC comics one. I've seen quite a few comments about staying well away from PU. I imagine if you have any problems, Costco would be much better to deal with. Still, $80 is quite a difference.

I had 2 x ONEX FT700. Terrible chairs. The foam used is cheap and wears down fast. 4 months and the metal frame pokes through the chair base. Warranty was a huge pain in the butt. Online retail store I bought from told me I need to contact them direct. When I finally got in contact with ONEX, took 3 months for them to reply, had to resort to bagging them out multiple times on their FB page as they don't reply to emails or DM's and there is no contact details on their website. They finally agreed to send a new base. They sent a completely different model base which doesn't fit. Gave up and bought a Heavy duty Ergonomic chair from Officeworks instead.
