[PC, Steam] Days Gone - $15.39 (~A$22.85) @ GameBillet

120

Pretty good price for a certified hood classic PS game. Usual price is hovering around A$45 or $74.95 on Steam at the moment.

Also Gamivo and G2A might have it for a little bit cheaper but yeah not legal reseller so yeah nah.

      So? Your point is?

Interesting game. Full on world, lots to explore.

Looks amazing on ultrawide display. It can get horrifying and sometimes is difficult in parts.

Riding the motorbike around is fun, nice floaty suspension and physics. Smooth acceleration.

The swarms of zombies are truly disturbing, the nests creepy.

Child age zombies was new for me. As I mowed down the zombie kids, I thought how far games have come.

One criticism: too many cut scenes and waffling by game characters. Can skip most of it.

    • If i've got this on console, not played yet - would you say buying it on PC would be worth it? Is the experience better on PC with kb+m?

Best thing about PC is you can mod the fuel economy of the bike

        • The PC mods are useful to play the game differently 2nd round. I finished it on PS4 and bought it on PC to tool up against the hordes.
Great game, red dead for the zombie apocalypse

      • I don't own a console, but I prefer PC because of ultra-wide support (3440 x 1440). Looks more cinematic.

Framerate is unlocked on PC, and improved graphics (increased level of details, field of view, foliage draw distances).

Keyboard and mouse works well for this game. While I haven't played in a few months, I put around 50 hours in, and my motorbike nicely upgraded and looking good. I wasn't aware of mods, so might look into that.

Just this morning I got an email about this on sale on Steam for $30ish and I nearly bought it. Good thing I held off.

    • Seems like it was on sale on lots of platforms.

Underrated game, though I experienced a fair bit of slowdown on an original PS4, no idea if same for PC.
