Reason: Listing error, items not as described. Amazon customers have been receiving a Play-Doh Kitchen Creations set instead of Star Wars Obi-Wan FX Lightsaber.

Another pre order pricing error from Amazon (RRP on these are $499)

      The question now is, what was dispatched?

      As the release date is supposedly 1 Oct, having it dispatched right now either means Amazon US got early access or we're getting some Doh for our dough

        Yeah the fact this is shipping ahead of the 1 Oct Amazon release date (let alone other retailers ETA) tells me everyone is getting some play doh. Though I did a Google earlier and also heard Hasbro reps state it was due for release in US Fall (i.e. now).

        Would love to be wrong though!

      Do a search on the ASIN for the deal. Many examples in Canada of the same thing. Strange to happen again…maybe Rogue 1 is loose in Amazon.

        Just did a search and yeah saw a few posts from another forum about this deal but I have yet to see any comments saying that they have receive it since it said the delivery is on Jan 2023. But the thing that they mention for the canada amazon listing is that it goes OOS and gets restocked again.

    Contacted customer service because I'm curious, but this is what they said. Take it with a grain of salt.

    Guy also mention to me that my item is already prepared to be shipped out from Salt Lake City, Utah

      Had a similar convo. I mentioned that i was confused as to why i was scheduled to recieve the item before its pre-order date (24th of Sep vs 1st Oct) and the rep told me they most likely had stock already prepared and can afford to send it out before the date. They also reassured me that I would get the saber (i kept bringing up the fact that i bought a saber to see whether they'd pull me up on it and say it was playdoh but they never did).

      Take it all with a grain of salt though…

      Also had a similar chat. Questioned the pictures Vs description. Was advised the pictures will be corrected and the item ordered and being delivered is the black series sabre. Amazon chat Vs Reality would indicate play-doh will win in my opinion.

      If we get Playdoh, just let the amazon customer centre know and return it for a refund. Not much else we can do.

      its a amazon us import so they cant do replacement only option is to send it back for refund which is up to 30 days process, some of us might get lucky with a no return refund though.

          They usually asks you to print a shipping tag and paste it on to the packaging.

          The issue, like @Lucretia mentions, is getting it back to them within 30 days.

          I bought something from the UK before, and immediately sent it out for refund as I found something else in the mean time. Took AusPost about 3 month from memory to deliver it (they lost the package, and it was found again), at which time I got only a partial refund from Amazon.

        One time I ordered a few expensive (more than this) SD cards from Amazon US via AU which came damaged, and they refunded the whole thing without a question, and they said I could keep or dispose of the item without needing a return.

    Amazon has automatically cancelled the order. It went from "Despatched" to now "Undeliverable" with the message:

    "Unfortunately, a problem occurred during shipping and we had to cancel your delivery. The package is being returned, and we will issue a refund within 3 - 5 business days after the return is processed. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience."

    Quite the anti-climax after all the excitement and suspense generated from this order!

        Like the others above, was despatched around 15 Sep and stuck on "carrier picked up package" step for the last few days when you select Track Package. Today, it turned to "Undeliverable".

            @Riqodex: Mine is by "Amazon AU Exports" which I believe are just flex drivers, then when it arrives here it'll continue as flex or transfer to Auspost or another courier

                @avivadz: OK, had a chat to Amazon and confirm it was damaged. I tried but couldn't get any further information to confirm whether this is the lightsaber or not.

                I spent another 15 mins afterwards asking for compensation as I have to now repurchase the item at a higher price. They kept on saying the item is no longer listed on Amazon US and ended up offering a $10 Amazon promo credit which I accepted.
