Booking Overseas Holiday for a Week Start of December

Hi, have some annual leave that expires in December and need to take leave for a week, thinking holiday overseas.

When and where is the best time to book for start of December for a week? Prices for December are starting to become expensive.

Cheaper the better.

    Exactly.
    Although some companies are offering an extra week of leave of your yearly allocation is taken within the 12m it is allocated. So this scenario could make sense
    “Take 4, get 5!”

    I have rostered days off that get cashed out at the end of the year if I don't use them but I would rather take time off.

  As soon as possible. My understanding is the longer you wait, the more expensive tickets will cost.

  Should have booked months ago.

  As for "where" use google to find the best comparison flight web site and use the site to book the flights.

  try Vanavatu it's on sale, flight from Sydney to Portvila was around $ 650 in return, cheaper than flying to Gold Coast or Melbourne. Accommodations are in the range of $ 150 to 200 per night cheaper than holidaying in AU.

  Book direct to keep costs and options open rather than going to FC or other travel agents.
