    This design generally doesn't work. I have a similar one and the phone pretty much flies off with every turn and is completely unusable.

        If you have a cd player slot in car then that one will be very stable

          I guess it depends on what car, I bought two baseus cd phone holders one for the camry which is stable, and the other one for the civic which is not so I have to use something else.

        I have another air vent version and it works fine. The problem I see with with OP one is it's too heavy and rigid. It needs some spring to absorb the vibration of the car turning and moving otherwise the force all goes into the clip which will fly off.

    That's right. The teeth to clamp into the vent is both shalllow with no real way to tighten it, and also, the only thing holding the phone in place in this design are just those tiny "nodules" which barely holds onto them. I don't know who these people are that says that theirs were fine, my phone was flying out at almost every corner which is an immediate fail. Either their driving is as slow as my grandmother's, or they have tiny, tiny phones is what I'm guessing.
