No idea if this is any good but over the years I've learnt to just buy something half decent because there's nothing more frustrating than line that just keeps snapping. I've found Trailblazer or even the Stihl branded line pretty good.

  • 264m?!

    • Maybe there's a cryptic message in the conversion - 288 yards.

Buy the right diameter too. 2.7mm may be a bit too large for some home grade trimmers. The cord will get stuck, break off at the eyelet or make the engine / motor work harder.
Also, pro tip, if you have heaps of trimmer cord, cut the length off and sit it in some water overnight and you'll find it doesnt break off as easily.

  • if it doesn't break easily, you won't need 264m of it

  • Its really tricky with line trimmer cord. Brands like Diamond Edge can be good. Stihl line trimmer cord is good. ECHO diamond edge is good. But a lot is terrible…

I also think on any domestic line trimmer 2.7 will be too thick. If running like a stihl 131R then it will be fine ($900+) I use these for my business along with 131 - way too powerful for home use!

No one in their right mind buys from allmowerspares. Take your money and never deliver. If you must use Paypal so you can recover your money. Online reviews paint an accurate picture of this problem.

    • of course support your local mower place. they should give commercial discount or pricing.
