    wow… 20?? FREE PROMO codes?
hellooo?? there are currently over 3,000 ozbargainers online…. i cant see a deal here….

    • -3

It's achieved its purpose IMO and deserves a listing. If you give away $19.80(20 x $0.99) worth of a new software product that you just launched, you can get free exposure to tens of thousands of people. If 500 people who missed out on a free code buy the app anyway out of impulse or curiosity, you've just made a pretty good investment, haven't you?

      • Well, it is actually less than that. Don't forget to deduct Apple comission (30%).

    • +7

yes.. i agree.. its a very good investment for the rep..
but.. when a deal has a TOTAL VALUE of less than $20 to the whole ozbargain community, is it a deal?

      • +2

Yeah, when you're only giving away 20 copies for free of something which has a theoretically unlimited supply… Well, it's really just an ad isn't it.

Hi, Apple developers receive only 50 promo codes for a particular app version. We have provided over 40 to the users who have responded despite only offering 20 promo codes in the first place. Being an Ozbargain user myself i do think that users do like such promotions on ozbargain which are available time to time from various developers like us. We wish we can provide more as well.

Don't worry, Ozbargain can be a harsh place as you know, but i appreciate the gesture.

      • -1

just admit you're bitter cause you didnt get one
        sheesh

  • I like how people want a bargain, yet they demand what bargains they want to see.

    Beggars can't be choosers, right?

Beggars and keyboard warriors aren't to be confused :)
