Box of ’09 shiraz and a box of peroni for $110 – assume $40 for the beer so $70 for the dozen - makes it $6 a bottle for a supposedly good drop…deal!

89 points for a red doesn't mean much. De Bortoli Sacred Hill/McWilliam's Inherritance is only $4.50 per bottle at 1st Choice and Dan's in any 6. They often get 86-89 points.

well well well the old shiraz just arrived - cracked a bottle to taste (yes it's 11am so what) and I know it is subjective but this shiraz is superb - a nice smooth berry peppery no tang - good score - recommended.
