Although from stories from people in the retail industry RFG are a special kind reprobate.

My last renewal time, I was unable to apply a code at checkout. Does it require you create a new account (different email) in order to do this, or has anyone found a way to get the discount on a membership renewal? Also, can you renew early and still get the full value?

I just did. Had to apply the code after clicking on the "Annual" renewal option @ $25. The step where you enter your card details for payment, there's an option to enter a discount code. Enter the code posted by OP there and it'll reduce the renewal price.
to get the discount, let your current membership expire and renew the next day.
According to the email you have 3 days to apply the code.
Is this a case of the hq franchiser collecting revenue in what will ultimately impact all the underlying franchisees who now have to take a hit which may or may not necessarily translate into at least 2x the customers?
