Ausclimate Cool Season Premium 10L Desiccant Dehumidifier for $440 Delivered @ Appliances Online eBay

90
HOMSAV

Current price is $500, which is fortunately exactly the minimum spend needed for coupon HOMSAV to apply a $60 discount.

Excludes: NSW Regional, Northern Territory, QLD Far North, QLD Regional, QLD South East, SA Regional, Tasmania, VIC Regional, WA Regional, WA Remote

You can also get it from Tools & Home (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/144612579607) for the same price by adding any HOMSAV eligible $1+ item to your cart in addition to the dehumidifier because it costs $499. So adding the extra item gives you the same $60 discount on the total amount. I think their shop has no delivery exclusions unlike Appliances Online.

Just a note for ppl buying dehumidifiers.
You really want a a big water tank capacity.
I have a 3.8 capacity which is optimal.
This one is Water tank capacity: 3.00 L
All depends on you application I guess, some have hoses for continuous dehumidifying also.

Just put the attachable hose into a drain and run forever?

      • TBH I feel like even 3.8 would not be enough (when there's rain for several days in a row). Ausclimate should really make all dehumidifiers a bit bigger to add more capacity!
Drain hose won't help in a bedroom unfortunately.

        • Well its just the water tank really. So theres no reason why you can't just make it with a bigger water holder.

      • It's the inconvenience of having mounted high enough to let the hose be high enough to run into a drain.

I bought this last time and its working great.

  • Pretty much excludes all of QLD. Why not just say that.

There's an extra link to the same machine from Tools & Home and they don't exclude SEQ, ends up same price by adding any HOMSAV eligible item priced $1 or above.

  • CHOICE magazine recommends Ausclimate Cool Season Premium.
We got one. It works just fine. Now ordered the 2nd one. Thanks OP.

I bought one from Tools and Home on eBay a few weeks ago. Have been very happy with the results.

Yes the tank is a smaller capacity, but I have run it most nights (3 bedroom apartment) and it hasn’t yet filled up completely in one night. I’m in Tassie, and had big condensation issues - think waking up to small pools of water on the bottom windowsill from the condensation running down the windows.

Would highly recommend, wish I had bought one sooner.

    • Curious how big your apartment is? How many hours do you run it a night and where in the apartment is it located? What are you running it on? High, low, Auto?
