Hey Guys,

The Big LAN is back in Mitcham, Victoria and after a ripper time at Dreamhack, we're expecting this event to be even bigger and better than last time.

We've got tournaments for some of your favourites games and over $25,000 in prizes from our sponsors! We're also supporting Wildlife Victoria with a portion of each ticket as well as a raffle.

We think The Big LAN represents great value for money as every ticket includes entry to all our tournaments, lunch and dinner, as well as exclusive discounts from some of our sponsors.

We're bringing back all your favourites like the VR, the Consoles, the Racing simulators, the Chess tournament, and more. And we're also adding a Lego building tournament (Lego provided), a design contest and heaps more!

Date: October 1st, 2022
Location: Mitcham Baptist Church (8-12 Simla St, Mitcham) with free parking available
Time: 10AM - 10PM
Cost: $15 - Console/AFK | $20 - BYO PC ($11.75/$15.35 with discount)
Food: Fully catered at no extra cost.

This event is 18+ only and is a drug and alcohol free event.

    Hmmm, take Friday off, drive 19 hours from BNE to Mitcham, sleep in the carpark to get there early, play all day, sleep in the carpark overnight a second time, drive back to Brisbane and start work again on Monday 8am..

    Tempting.

      It's encouraged. But the building has a LOT of ventilation, we haven't had any issues with this in the past.

        I'm just messing around. 90 minutes for a 3 game Rocket League tournament seems optimistic though. Three games is ~20 minutes, so that's four rounds maximum.

          The schedule is just an estimate. We don't mind too much if tournaments go overtime, we just aim to start them on time. It just means that there's a chance a Rocket League player may also miss CS:GO Armsrace, etc.

      Honestly, we have a VERY broad age range. We get 18 year-olds, and we have people well into their 50s, possibly 60s.
