Got a highly strung euro engine that just loves sipping only the finest VW504/507 motor oil?

It's hard to find good discounts on Euro spec oil, $10/L is pretty decent. This particular 10L jug was last on OzB 4 years ago for $84.10… but its a different world now…

          @rifter: Good price but need to add shipping costs as it's less than the $99 required for free shipping. Throw in a sump plug or two and that should take the total over the free shipping requirement.

          I prefer the 5L containers as I can pour the used oil back in and drop off at Supercheap.

  Looking for the finest Nulon C3 oil why not go for the Nulon premium product Apex+ in C3 formulation. Otherwise why not use Penrite C3.

  Would this go alright in a MB W204 C250? Places like SCA are saying it should work - but will it do any damage being a diesel oil for a petrol car?

    Get the correct oil. Different oils have different additives to improve lubrication, add extra life to the oil, etc etc. It is important to not have additives that are not suitable for the materials used in your engine.
    Google is your friend.
    eg. SHELL HELIX ULTRA 5W-40 is MB229.5 approved.
