https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/720301 still a better deal with better groupset and carbon fork…

    • agreed and comes in at probably around 2kg lighter. depends how important that extra dosh is as it could make up as a helmet/lock/light/bells etc

Not sure $16 is gonna buy a whole lot of extra gear…

        Go the Merida for sure.

        • gotta add the $35 for membership to the price so adds up to a pretty $50 :)

          • @peter05: You've gotta add the same membership to get the price listed in this deal too.

If you don't pay for gold membership it's $643.

            • @Srey: oh, i only see an option for 643, didnt compare to your listing price. sorry misstepped but appears we cant get gold anymore

    • That Merida is $593.10 for Gold Price if you still have or know someone who still has Gold Membership. They recently scrapped the ability to get it, but are honouring it until 6mths after the cutoff date as it's a 6mth membership for gold.

      • I wonder why the gold price went missing… Are they scrapping gold members altogether?

        • Yea you can only see it if you still have gold membership. you can't buy it anymore though. the cutoff I think was end of august.

  • This is $578.70 if you still have Gold Membership.

  • Any MTB bargains?

  • This or the Merida Speeder 100 on sale also, this looks better in black than blue in large. Bit any feedback spec wise? Am a novice weekend bike pather. Cheers

    • Refer to my first comment above…

      • I'm in the same position as Leroy above. Novice biker, usually use on weekends with my son (9 years old, uses a mountain bike from cyclingdeal). The thick tyres of mountain bikes tend to give me a sense of control and comfort and I'm nervous about going to a road bike with much thinner tyres. Is the Merida 100 a good choice for me? Would be mostly pathways. Wouldn't commute.

        • Merida 100 can have the tyres upgraded to 35mm gravel tyres which should provide the extra traction you need… but best to confirm in store though as they can take a sample tyre and see if it will fit…
