Awesome, except that the item I would like to buy is $29.99. Any good $0.01 items on the site? :P

    • Ordered OEM move controller for $26.49 delivered after discount. Thanks!

      • what did you get for $1.49?

        • The OEM move controller is $1.50 more expensive but $3.50 cheaper after the discount. ;P

    • +1

No 1c items but there are some fairly decent things for around $5.

      • Damn, I could have bought some tribal tattoos!

  • +1

Just beat me to posting it :P. Great deal!

  • Mmm trying to work out whether I take a plunge at Max Payne 3. Ive heard mixed reviews…

    • I finished it last night and I must say it's an amazing game. Loved it.

    • Max Payne 3 is a must to play this year even if you are not FPS fan. Play it for the story and dark humor. Graphics on the PC are awesome. My PS3 and XBOX are taking longer and longer breaks now…

  • I love ozgameshop. Definitely tempting to pick up something else now after getting Amalur from them last week.

  • Yeah I got a Steel Series mouse pad, using the voucher they gave us all for $5 off, no minimum spend :)

    • Which voucher is this?

      • +2

They gave everyone who already had an account 5,000 of their reward points, with which you can get said voucher.

        • Forgot about this - just logged and found my points there. Win!

    • .

    • Is it possible to stack the points vouchers with this voucher?

Edit: Damn, according to spawnpoint, below, it can't be.

picked up the MGS HD collection for $41 :) It's a bit ridiculous how much they're selling diablo 3 for though…$72

    • +1

I bought this a few weeks ago and just finished 1 (PSN), 2, and 3. I'm 4 hours into MGS4 now. What a wild ride!

      • +1

I wish I had time to actually play the games I buy… :(

Haven't turned my PS3 on in a couple of months.

        • +1

Same here. Good thing i'm on uni holidays now though. A month to churn through my collection :D

Make sure to check dvd.co.uk / Zavvi / The Hut / GAME (yeah that's right, GAME…40% off atm) etc before buying…I am finding a lot of things cheaper elsewhere, even after the $5 off ;)

    • This is so true, the zavvi/thehut 2 for 25 pound sale has really put the ozgameshop PS3 prices to shame recently. Though, I still buy a lot of stuff from both.

    • Absolutely Kirt, $5 off doesn't even make most of the games cheaper than Zavvi/the hut.
I have never bought anything from Ozgameshop til date because everytime when I decide to buy a game, I compare the price & find cheaper either at zavvi or dvd.co.uk

      • +1

Sometimes in the time you spend waiting for your order, ozgameshop have dropped to a similar price

        • I have never seen them dropping price. may be they drop $1 or $2 & next day they increase by $5-$7. hah
& anyways, I dont throw money on Pre-orders. so 10 days of waiting period for any game is not an issue for me.

    • Sad but true. Ozgameshop used to be the best imo, prices aren't very competitive right now

      • +6

That said, ozgameshop don't usually keep you waiting as long as zavvi/the hut do

      • +5

OZgameshop orders usually come quicker and don't get cancelled without notifying you

    • Well Assassin's Creed III is considerably cheaper on ozgameshop. Freedom edition for PC is $58 whilst on Zavvi it's $85.

    • Oh wow this place is awesome.
Diablo 3 for £38.95 ($61) delivered, pretty darn cheap!

    • I always scope out http://find-game.co.uk to compare prices. They've recently changed their layout and now return results for a wider variety of vendors. However, many do not deliver outside of the U.K.

I almost had an aneurysm when I saw Tesco were selling SB Brawl for 4 quid new - U.K. delivery only. :`(

Damn, I was hoping to stack the 5,000 player points with this offer… Oh well, still a good offer.

    • can't you do it?

      • Dont seem to be able to.

Im guessing you can only use one code at a time…

  • +8

Their prices are jacked up for this sale.

Usually, PS3 games are sold for $46-$49

    This time round its $55

    • +8

I have to agree with this as well as I have seen some games jacked up in terms of prices during sales.

      • yeahh i'm pretty sure i saw uncharted 3 for cheaper last week. not enough to give a neg

        • -1

since the whole reason for the listing is the $5 discount which gets cancelled out because prices have been jacked up, are you going to tell us what the bargain is?

        • I think prices have been jacked up as AUD has had a drop in exchange rate to the GBP so they are just adjusting as they charge in AUD.

    • Some game price are jacked up.
There are still some bargains but this kind of practice deserve a neg

    • +18

Is there actually any proof of this apparent jacking up of prices??

      According to Google cache:
      - Uncharted 3 is the same price on the as it was on the 5th of June
      - Dragon's Dogma is the same as it was on the 4th of June
      - Dirt Showdown is the same as it was on the 5th of June.
      - Ghost Recon Future Soldier is $5 cheaper than it was on the 4th of June
      - Max Payne is $1 cheaper today than it was on the 4th of June

Out of these five randomly picked PS3 games, all of them are the same price (if not cheaper) than they were a week ago. Stop negging without proof, people.

      • -3

        I bring proof!!

        http://postimage.org/image/5exk5o5h3/

Dure it was a special offer, but this offer was $3 off its previous price.

A good day to you, sir.

        • Lol, Neatorama, Kotaku, Engadget.

Glad to see someone as geeky as I!

        • +6

All that shows is that it was a limited time offer that was $5 cheaper than it is now (when it's not on special). And if what you're saying about it being $3 off it's previous price is true well then that means a whole lot of nothing really. A 5% price fluctuation? Grab your pitchforks people because it's clearly time to lynch Ozgameshop.

And please don't call me sir.

        • It's definitely not worth negging about. I was just showing that prices have been cheaper.

I use ozgameshop all the time since they are much cheaper that any retail store here, definitely not out to lynch them.

        • Ma'am?

    • +2

prices are jacked up because the AUD drops. it's only started to rise in the past few days

  • +1

Good stuff, bought a $29.99 xbox 360 controller for PC

    • +1

So you would have paid $29.99…?

      • $29.99 after $5 discount!

      • +1

Haha…comments like that make me laugh

    • Me too :P

  • +1

$30 for Red Dead Redemption GOTY XBox360 shipped is a win in my book!

    • -8

got RDR for $3.50 at the DS sale :D

    • Hey yeah that reminds me, they have RDR GOTY edition at EB games for $34 at the moment.
I bought mine there, thus far I find it much more entertaining than GTA IV was.

  • The Crucial M4 + Transfer Kit combo is once again in stock (very limited though) for $135
    http://www.ozgameshop.com/hard-drives/crucial-128gb-m4-ssd-2…

So I suppose with the code, it will come to $130 and $125 if you redeem your player points.

  • MW3 is a good deal at $35. Zavvi and thehut have it for about £30 plus postage.

    • Thanks for this, thanks to OP as well..

  • Got the Crucial M4 + transfer kit combo as mentioned above. Thanks for the link as well!

  • cant use for preorders

  • red dead redemption GOTY for $30 seems alright.

  • Not sure if Lollipop Chainsaw will be available by the time the coupon expires :( If it is available I'll save $10 with my player points :)

    • You can't use both (just incase you missed it)

  • I just bought RDR GOTY from the hut for basically the same price :-!

  • There prices are always changing within about a $3-5 range. It just varies on how popular it is so how much stock they have. You know, supply and demand. That thing taking place on CD key websites and other on line stores. A normal business practice.

  • bought d3 for $68, $1 cheaper than JB n got ozgame pt…
cant wait a mouth from zavvi even i kn there's cheaper~

  • I'm really struggling to find anything on their website under $5 to push my 29.99 order over the $30 threshold. Even a simple badge or sticker is $5+ because it obviously has the shipping cost embedded in the item price.

Update - I just took the plunge and bought RDR:GOTY for $30 with the voucher. I think the "last one in stock, hurry!" message made me jump on it quick. Well what do you know, they instantaneously and mysteriously have new stock "available and ready for delivery" right after I ordered, only the price has jumped from $35 up to $42! They obviously use dynamic pricing based on supply and demand but they still lied to me and therefore cannot be trusted(jokes). Oh well, I'm satisfied to get a good price on an amazing definitive edition of a game I've been waiting far too long to play!

    • +2

Yeah pretty normal stuff, they either got a certain amount of stock at a cheaper price from their distributor or they were selling a certain number at a lower profit margin to draw customers (like you!). RDR was my personal GOTY for 2010 and is just stunning is pretty much every way. I don't think I've ever spent so much time just standing around in game admiring the view. Undead Nightmare is possibly my favourite DLC for a game… ever. $30 for the both + a bit of extra gear is unbeatable value. You will not regret it! :D

      • Thanks man. You're peaking my anticipation for it :)

  • got a couple of old games for cheaper price than EB or JB, thanks!

  • Hmm, Lollipop Chainsaw still listed as "pre-order" despite passing release date, should have seen that coming.
    Good deal otherwise.

    • And changed, Lollipop Chainsaw for $40.99, ha-ha!
