  Does anyone know if the free PS5 upgrade still works if your PSN account is a US account? thanks!

  edit: I just found a review on amazon that states it does not work with the different regions.

    Is your main PSN account a US account? If so, you can create an aussie PSN account to claim and download the free PS5 upgrade and then you should be able to play on your main account. I've done this with a different game from a different region and the PS5 upgrade works fine on my aussie account.

  Infamously a bit of a mess when it launched, this has been getting regular, major free updates from the developer for the last six or something years, and is now pretty great if you’re into the whole cruising around the galaxies collecting ships and taking screenshots of cool-looking planets thing (which I totally am). The 4.0 update should be just around the corner, and who knows what that will bring, but I’m looking forward to it. If it’s your cup of tea, you’ll get a lot of hours out of it for your $16.
