GPU>>EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 KO ULTRA GAMING 6GB Video Card

    In Q3 2022 you're calling this a gaming PC with a GPU worth 1/3rd of the $1199?
    HODL

      • +12

2060 isn’t bad for 1080p but you’d expect more at this price. Maybe shave a couple hundred off the price for a decent deal

        • -7

Agreed, I wasn't saying it's good value. I'm kinda laughing at someone saying a 2060 isn't a graphics card for gaming though lol.

It's very capable even at 1440p on DLSS (or FSR technically) enabled games or older games on general

          • +8

@Dvbargain: Basically meant what FireRunner said.
System is nice overall but I'd prefer something that includes a GPU worth closer to 50% of cost.
            So, like a $700 GPU in a $1200-$1500 system.

            At $950, this would sell.
$1199 seems like a Trading Post ad.

            • -6

@Crownie: Yeah I feel you, and I agree it's not the most great value especially taking into account secondhand 2060 prices have plummeted..

              • +1

                @Dvbargain: So why post this?

                • @Circly: Huh? I'm also not associated, don't know why it's saying that.

The guy said a 2060 isn't a gaming GPU. It is. Pretty simple mate.

Wonder why the down votes, do Ozb sincerely think a 2060 is so bad it's not classed as a gaming GPU? Or is it just a stacks on situation with no thoughts on why you're down voting haha

                  • @Dvbargain: Kindergarten comprehension class for you!

                    • @Techie4066: Gonna have to agree to disagree. It'd still be a gaming PC with a gtx1050 in it. Just not a good one :)

                      • @Dvbargain: Their point wasn't that it's not a "gaming" PC. It's that a $1199 gaming PC is not an OzBargain gaming PC.

                        • +1

@Techie4066: A true gaming PC deal? What makes it true or untrue exactly?

It's not a great deal, but this has no relevance to whether BPC should call it a gaming PC. Thus, I think the comment itself is silly… And I'll stick by that opinion haha.

Edit: well you edited your post to remove the words true gaming PC so now my comment is out of context :) oh well

                          • -1

@Dvbargain: You can't edit a comment after it has been replied to. That's on you.

            • @Crownie: Thanks for the suggestion :)

I will ask the PM team to look into systems like $1399/$1499 3070/3070ti build.

Again thx for sharing your view.

              Cheers,
              BPC Team

Bruh have you seen what ozb does when 8gb grapbics cards go on fire Sale and it's not enough to power your octa-4k-setup? 6gb got no hope.

          • +1

@Jazza2400: Haha yeah I know. I have a 3080Ti but I can still appreciate how well you can game on a 2060, but others are right.. It doesn't make this PC a good buy!

  • +3

I would think a 6600XT would be a better GPU for this spec/price?

  • +6

put 3060 in at this price and we're gonna have words

  • Drop the prices 3080s then we'll talk.

  • +7

This should have a 6600xt instead of a last gen barely mid-end gpu

    • Honestly shouldn’t it have 3060? Wasn’t these the prices for 3060 rigs recently? I could be wrong

      • Techfast selling 12100F with 3060tis in a build cheaper than this (albeit other parts are inferior).

I'd do a comparison but TF builds with 12400F plus 3070tis so it's an unfair comparison

      • +1

Similar system with 3060 from BPC was $1299 earlier in the year.
Was a great deal at the time… especially when factoring in the freebies (headset, games, etc.)

  • +2

I'm almost certain you can get an RX6600 for this price. It's a much better GPU.

    • I do believe this system has an option for changing VGA to RX6600 without any price change

  • +12

You're allowed to have bad value systems, but please don't post them on OzBargain

  • +2

What's with BPC and piss take posts lately….

  • +1

It makes more sense to try and clear the 2060s by themselves for ~$350, rather than sticking them in prebuilts. At this price point most people would be expecting a 6600XT or better.

  • +4

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/721708

    $1148 for yes an i3, but a 3060ti……………………

  • +1

This is a weird build, you have some nice parts mid tier parts, 12 series intel etc, modular psu, etc.

Then you plop a 2060 in it?

  • I’m pretty sure the gaming laptop I bought performs similar to this in games for cheaper lol.

Ideapad Gaming 3 with 5600H, RTX 3060 mobile and 32 gb of ram (after upgrading) costed less than $1100 including the ram upgrade and delivery. Not a high power laptop, but newer gen graphics card would put it on a similar level to this desktop.

Honestly terrible value all things considered. Desktops should be better performance for the money cause they lose portability and don’t include a screen and keyboard. But, this is far from it. The RTX2060 really hurts the build imo.

  • +2

Sorry but how is this a deal? Gpu prices sinking like a rock and nvidia 40xx imminent. Clearly BPC overpaid for these and trying to clear stock before new gen GPUs. Please don’t come on ozbargain and classify this as a bargain deal..

At this price and the current market, buyers would be expecting a 3070 at the very minimum.

    • Thanks for the advice :)

  • How much is a 2060 on it's own these days?

  • At this price point, perhaps a RTX3060 or 6600XT should be included. Also Store Rep doesn't seem to be very much active offering a better deal on the GPU for this build here so what's the point?

  • Not value, with the slumping prices of 3060s/3070s at the moment would have been a better addition to this system than the old 2060.

  • Error in title, should be 30X0 or 6600xt 🤪

  • Didn’t I see you guys posting rtx3060 builds for the same price?
