I've been looking at the P2 Pro for a few days and just happened to check the price and it was discounted. Then noticed the big sale and that it wasn't shared on Ozbargain yet so thought I would share.

Thought it might be useful for some to know in regards to postage; I ordered the P2 Pro scales on Saturday 27/08 and they arrived today 30/08. Tracking shows it was sent out of Melbourne which is my location so probably a bit slower for others.
Almost everything is still cheaper at amazon right now
Doorbell was $230 from Amazon AU, Backorder at the time but great price.
Currently $269. Amazon will probably deal better with refund too.

Yea it's pretty pathetic hey! I have eufy cams and doorbell but I also have a hikvision 4k system recording constantly 24/7. I just use the eufy for easy notifications and the security alarm based stuff
Certainly not a great feature. All my videos are stored on my NAS so nothing is stored locally on the Homebase

I was about to buy the Eufy 2 pro 2k system. No chance of that now. Thank you for reporting this security flaw. It pretty much makes all the Eufy security gear worthless.
If you put the camera high enough, I think it'll be okay, for video doorbell perhaps not a good idea, just because people would need to be able to reach it

Sure you can put the camera out of reach and hope for the best, but the point is these cams are meant to be secure and they are not. In fact they are so insecure that it wouldn't surprise me that a thief targets stealing them. All they need to do is grab the camera, hold the sync down for 10secs and the video of them stealing the camera is no longer available on the homebase. And to make matters worse they can sell the camera as its not linked to the purchaser. The only way to use Eufy cameras is to sync the videos to another location or purchase the cloud option. And that defeats one of the most compelling features of Eufy equipment - no ongoing subscriptions required.
