  TP-link cams are great, got a few at home of the KC200 wired ones, work great, cheap and have free online storage.

        1. Cost. you're paying an annual subscription for access to data that others provide for free locally.
        2. EOL out of your control - I had this happen with an old Belkin camera. They closed down their cloud server and stopped my device from being able to work as it was reliant on these cloud services.
