  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOÃ’OOOO!

    King of instant noodle
Add eggs, kimchi or other vegetables that go well with Asian style soups
For those not fan of spicy suggest to add milk 50ml~100ml instead of water.

    • +3

If you're not big on spicy just add less spice or get the Black version

    • Huh?? Milk??

      • Some chemicals in milk offset spice

        • +3

The chemical is just fat. The compound that makes things spicy is fat soluble so any liquid that has fat will help

Tastes pretty good, gives it a creamy quality

    • Craft cheese also works

    • Oh wow. Wouldn't have thought to do that. That's definitely going to be given a try when I have these for dinner tonight

    • Coconut milk/cream goes pretty well in it as well!

      • Would definitely recommend this over milk.

  • Dupe. There was already a deal on the Ring of Pain.

These have little meat squares right? I couldn't see it in the ingredients but I tried it once and could swear it had

    • Yeah tiny cube of beef. Enough to remind you that you paid 79 cents for such a fulfilling meal on a cold winter night where you're too lazy to cook and too poor to order takewaways :)

The Australian version is vegan, what you saw is soy protein textured like meat.

      • Good to know

Where can you access the next coles catalogue this early? Thanks 😊

  • I bought a pack recently when these were on sale at Woolworths. I have good spice tolerance and add chilli to lots of things, but find these unbearably hot. Half the flavour packet and a bit of chicken stock powder makes for a dish that is very spicy, but considerably more palatable.

      weak

Add a little more spice each time, you can get used to the whole thing pretty quick, and I do think it becomes nicer

    • +1

Don't agree! I also have good spice tolerance level but anything too spicy and I can't have it but these are just perfectly fine. Maybe a tiny meeny bit over my comfort zone but that's absolutely fine.

  • Really WANT AMAZON to price match these again!!

  • Pro-tip, get a slice of processed cheese and immediately add it on top of the noodles after cooking, give it a minute or two to melt then mix it into the broth. You won't taste the cheese flavour, but instead get a beautifully creamy and rich broth (while reducing the spice intensity). Trust me, don't knock it until you try it.

      mmm excessive sodium

      • +1

The trick with this kind of instant noodles is to resist the temptation to drink the soup. You are not having too much salt as long as you don’t drink the soup. The soupless ones on the other hand…

        • But the slurping is the best bit!

  • the price went downer than previous"?

  • I add the packets into a bowl, finely chopped garlic, 1 egg, kewpie mayo, soy sauce, and mix it. Then add hot water, makes it delightfully creamy/thick soup.

    • Simply adding hot water isn't enough to cook everything - how do you cook it?

  • This deal is 🔥
Kinda like what will be emitted from your anus if you use the whole spice packet.

    • I love using the whole packet though…..

  • +1

Nice noodle but The sodium content is too high ..

    • +1

I'll use half the packet to cut down the sodium. Sprinkle a little chilli flake if you like it spicy.

      • Great idea .
