Haha good ol' Choco Cooky, thanks 😘

  • In Brisbane these are $5 for 2 boxes at Coco's annerley

    • Coco's Annerley is amazing with different bargains every week… Anyone knows similar discount/bargain stores in Perth?

  • Wait what. $4 reg price lol target demo must not work there.

  • These taste pretty good. Good deal for this price as Woolworths have these for $10 each

  • Anyone checked these out? Close to expiry?

Are these the ones made in Taiwan?
    Hope so 🇹🇼

  • out of all the instant bubble tea packs sold at Woolies/Coles/Costco (Asian supermarkets excluded), these are probably near the top. Doesn't have a weird fake taste like some of the others, and it can be pretty similar to what you would actually get at a chatime store, but at a fraction of the price. The pearls are surprisingly great and chewy (not sure if my memory is getting muddled) and are actual pearls rather than a jelly like other brands.
The Lipton branded packs are not bad either

    • Haha guess I'll try it. As a bbt store, Chatime is sadly one of the lowest out of the ones I've tried. Always watered down or just missing that something, even different stores.

      • Totally agree, it's at the bottom for me and is watery for me too. But until more competition for these packs come out (and there slowly are), these boxes are one of the better ones!

    • Second lipton.

Think the dry pearls that is microwaved in water rehydrates better than those in a packet with some liquid for some reason.

  • just would like to call out that taste wise is really up to each individual's opinion.

In my view, Chatime tea kit taste way worse than Chatime (you bought from the shop).

Guess no harm to try for a small quantity rather than commit to large bulk.

Obvious so not to canabalise the shops. Shops are making outrageous margins.

  • It's not the same thing you buy from the shop. But close enough to enjoy and cheap enough to drink every day ( Don't know the health issue though). Chartime don't include the straws; therefore, you need to buy them separately from elsewhere or use a spoon. On the other hand, Lipton bubble tea comes with 5 packs inside with big straws. IMO Chartime taste better.
