Hello, I'm probably going to need to change my tyres for my Mazda 3.
I don't need anything high performance or flashy, but was wondering what differences there are for tyres and if I should get it done at my local mechanic or larger Repco/other stores
If you're in Sydney, I go to Tempe tyres.
If you're too far from Tempe (but still in Sydney) .. Just ask one of the others like Bob Jane to price match and they usually will.
They've got other locations other than Tempe.
I get my tyres at Costco Auburn.

Go to tyre shop. Ask them what they have to sit your vehicle. Pick one that suits your needs and budget. Wait for a bit, drive away on new rubber.
Tyre size & location?
I normally recommend tyroola, but have heard costco is cheap too.
Last two times I got the Bridgestone buy 3 get 1 free deal and was pretty happy with them (Mazda 6 and Mazda 3).
Most tyre retailers have online quotes.
You put in your car reg, confirm your tyre dimensions and voila.
