Paying Rent with Credit Card to Earn Points

Hi,

I have currently being paying my weekly rent through Sniip with my rental Bpay details as I needed to make a min spend per month to earn some bonus points. I didn’t mind paying the fee as our rent was not too high. Now our rent has has a substantial increase and the fee now outweighs points being earned. Is there another way to pay rent via bpay to earn Credit Card Points. I have been reading I could do this through Beam It, however would anyone know if a Citibank visa would recognise this as a transaction to earn points on?

    I do the same - only worth it if you are trying to hit minimum spends - would not bother if you are just earning the regular points on most credit cards.

    That said, if you have access to an ABN YakPay is cheaper than Sniip

    One other option - you probably don't have to pay your rent in full in one transaction - just use Sniip or similar for the smallest amount needed to hit your minumum spend for bonus points and then just regular non credit card payment for the rest

    I have a Wetpac Altitude Platinum credit card. I use BPAY to pay my rent through westpac app or westpac website for no fees.
    As far as I know there are no fees charged for BPAY using credit card.
