  • Since there's no limit on purchases. I grabbed TWO: one for work, one for home. Both work ridiculously well!

    • +1

      Are these actually pretty good?

What's the connection on the gun? I have 4 snow foam cannons, all with Gerni fittings…
I was looking to upgrade my super small Gerni and thought I'd go a bigger Gerni model.
Specs seem to be ok. Aluminium pump is good.

Definitely would want to upgrade to a longer hose….

      • These aren't too bad. I use one to wash my car with a snow foam cannon. You just gotta ensure you get the right attachment which requires a bit of digging as they aren't manufactured by the same company (if i'm not mistaken). Good pressure and value. My only regret is that I need to carry it around to get around the entire car. If i'm to upgrade in the future, I'd pick something with a longer hose or with one of those wheels.

Welcome to OZB.. What will you use this at work for?

      • +31

        Wash myself before going home

        • Ouch!

          Oh Jeezzz… Sounds like 2020

      • +6

        Bidet?

        • Proper ring sting

  • Bought it last week for $108 :(

    • +5

Buy another one and return it with the old receipt

      • +1

I've had issues returning Ozito products with Bunnings change of mind. At least for a Wet Dry vac they gave me a hard time even though it was unused.

    • +2

Bring old receipt. Buy new one, walk out and walk back in with new one, old receipt.
      Ask for refund. Simple.
Use the money to buy some sausage sizzles. WIN.

    • +2

Or maybe just tell them to refund you the difference. They will return the item and sell it back to you for the lesser price. Little embarrassing telling them you don't want it then going back to the register and buying it again. Having said that, wanting $9 back is probably also embarrassing. You could always waste $9 of petrol driving to a different Bunnings.

      • +2

Pass by a Bunning today and just took the receipt with me and got me $9 back, called manager and asked if I have used it, I said still in the box in my car.

    • People will say it's not the OzBargain way but it's $9, surely not worth wasting time on or worrying about, just be happy with your purchase.

  • +2

Dont stress too much superforever, you have used a week before others lol :)

    • +9

Dont stress too much superforever, you have used a week before others lol :)

      Still in the box :(

      • refund it, and go buy another haha

      • +4

        Time to stress

      • return and rebuy

      • +5

$10 is not worths the stress!
Many of us have suffered much worse, trust me!
        XD

        • $9 to be precise

          • @naru6705: Not worth it in time, petrol and the usual dodging a potential car accident at Bunnings.

  • Anyone owns it? how does perform compare to bosch Aquatak 125?

    • See 1st cmt

    • +4

Might need to buy bosch Aquatak 125 to compare

    • +1

Aquatak 125 rated 12.5 MPa, and the Ozito rated 10MPa
I'd say Bosch should preform better based on the spec.

    • +1

@zoohoo i have one. Bought it about a month ago for $119 and works flawlessly. The hose length is a big dealbreaker. Constantly gotta move the pressure washer to wash my 5 seater SUV. I say 7-10m hose is best without having to move the pressure washer around constantly around the car. Other than that it works great 👍🏽 Let me know if you have any other questions.

      • Don’t have any experience using the bosch one. I used to have a toolpro petrol one though. Ozito one is honestly perfect for home DIY use. Electric too. No need to go to the servo.

  • What's the normal price for this?

    • $108

      • If C&C

  • Let it be…

  • Tried to order as click & collect and it immediately cancelled. Maybe in-store only?

  • 2030PSI… its not going to damage cars' paint, is it?

    • Distance from the lance to the body work is important for these.

      • Wow! is there a guideline? Assuming its not for noobs.

        • +1

It's noob friendly, the car detailing community would tell you to keep a distance between 30 cm to 50 cm away from body work. The pressure is much greater at point blank and it falls off as distance increases. You would only need to get close to get stubborn muck off.

          https://www.bowdensown.com.au/how-to-snow-foam > info about distance

          • @jker898: Wouldn't you use a 40° wide spray nozzle or even that is too strong?

            • @HairyChickens: At the device's PSI capacity, yes I would still maintain an arm's length.

    • +1

I prefer to use the normal garden one for car washing.

    • +6

I have the cheapest and lowest pressure one you can buy (Homelite iirc) and it was able to take off the paint on my deck if you put it within 5cm of the nozzle. Car paint is a lot stronger but I'd still use it at about a metre from the nozzle just to be safe.

    • No, but i'd use it at a distance from your window seals.

  • +3

Can it remove algae growth/stains from concrete?

    • Yes I've used it for this purpose.

  • Never used one of these before. Do I need to have water connected when I use it? Or is there a reservoir so I can disconnect from water supply and still use it.

Ie to wash things far away from a tap.

Assuming it needs to be connected to a powerpoint to use?

    • +2

Needs a hose connected and needs power via an extension usually or you'll run out of cord quickly.

  • how loud is it I wonder. I have the smallest Karcher (K2?) and thing is annoyingly loud especially doing longer jobs like pavers / deck cleaning etc

    • +1

edit: also that flimsy plastic tube to put into detergent stopped worked really quick =/

  • +6

IMO $8 off of day to day price $108 make this less of a deal

    • But, can you currently find a pressure washer that is at least this good (performance and build quality) for any cheaper?

      • You could've said this at $108 full price, doesn't make it a bargain, just makes it the cheapest. Two very different things.

  • +2

Is this good or just ok? Worth investing $ in a better one?
    I hate the old buy-think-sell-rebuy
    such is ozb life

    • +1

This thing is awesome. I had a petrol one that was 3x more expensive that was a pain to start and broke down after a couple of years. This has been the replacement. Does the same job, plenty of pressure and no issue at all. Must say one of the best ozito products I have ever purchased!

  • +1

Do these have the same fitting as Karcher?
I want to use it with a pipe/drain cleaning kit.

  • I got the Bosch Aqautak 125 for $109. Works pretty well

    • $109 is a good price, can I ask where you bought it from?

      • Amazon

        • Is this only at certain times, eg. One of the past bargains?

  • Did anyone use a pressure washer to clean roof tiles? Particularly clay roofs?

  • I have an old Gerni that I want to replace, does anyone know if my Gerni fittings/ snow cannon connector will work with this Ozito?

    • +1

Nope different connector. You will need a Lavor adapter.

  • I'm washing some pavement and my cars… this, or the $230 Karcher K3?

  • Anyone know what hose can be used to replace the standard one?

  • +1

Got one in New Zealand today to do some cleaning for the olds while I'm here. Pretty good for tiles / pavers etc. Dad has a petrol one this is as good if not better because its easier to use.

  • how's it compare to this Mechpro Blue Pressure Washer 2000W
i bought it and it was trash pressure, unless i use the turbo attachment, but working area is so small would take ages to do a 3x3m patch

  • +1

7L/min max flowrate seems to be pretty decent! Good price for an aluminium pump too. 3 years warranty and 5m hose fyi.

Karcher K2 has 6L/min max flowrate and 8m hose for comparison. Unsure about warranty length though.

  • +5
  • Does this come with the car spray foam attachment?

That's pretty much my only use case for purchase…to aid in car wash once every other month.

Would you recommend buying it to wash the old socca mum car every other month?

    Thanks

  • I used ozitos cheapest one a while back, was utterly shocking. Not sure if this is the same. Bought black jet Oz petrol one for 400 had zero issues, enough power

  • Does anyone know where to get accessories for this, or attachments for Karcher gear? I'm not impressed with the standard equipment…

    • What are you looking for? Snow Foam lance?

  • +1

Most cars are 4-5m in length. Probably want 7m hose to be able to spray half of the car without moving the pressure washer.

    • Agreed! I invested in the 8m hose for my Gerni for washing the car. Only just allows me to reach the whole car (Medium-large sedan) without moving the washer itself.

  • +1

Bought this a while back. It's ok for the car, not great for much else. Ended up getting a Karcher K4 not long ago and the difference is night and day. Obviously a lot more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

  • I've been pretty happy with mine. I've used an old Bosch and smaller Karcher unit and this is more powerful than both. Works well as a pressure washer. Had for about 12 months now. Use every 2 months or so.

  • Thanks OP. Saw the deal, went to Bunnings and got Gerni 3600 as recommended by staff…cleaned my front yard and driveway flawlessly. Those accessories like patio cleaning plate make big difference. Noted accessories are expensive af.

  • Has anyone used Bigboi Washr Flo? Is it worth the extra money for all the accessories?

  • +1

Can anyone recommend an ebay/generic snow cannon that'll do the thick foam?

    • MJJC is the brand I went with for my Bosch one, based on reviews. Haven't gotten to use it yet though.
