You don't need to sign up to the newsletter exactly, just create a new account using a different email or gmail +1 trick and it'll automatically apply at checkout.

I suspect that this set might not sell very well (compared to previous Star Wars UCS sets) so am curious to see if it will get more heavily discounted later on.
