I purchased in store and managed to get it for $4500 plus $59 delivery (Melb).
Got delivery the next day and was pleasantly surprised they included a stand.

My Sony 77 A80J died within 6 months. Planning to get Sony to do a full refund and switch over to this. Does anyone know if this EVO panel is superior compared to the A80K?
LG evo panel seems pretty good on many review. Good luck getting a refund tho.
Had similar experience with Sony just outside of warranty. Have an LG now and quality is much better.
Pretty sure they are both same panels. Rest is just the image processing each company does
But the G1 should be aligned with Sony’s A90J instead of A80J?
Dont hold me to it, but i think the only difference between a90j and a80j is the heatsink
Based on previous years im surprised they still have stock left. Unless JB gave you gallery stand as a separate negotiation, the G1 comes with the feet stand as standard.
Unfortunately only the 77 had been in stock in recent months, the 65 had been depleted just about all year.
They have stock left in their warehouse. I confirmed yesterday and they said that they have around 13 units left.

Yes. Though make sure that U advise the sales rep to include it as it comes in a separate box.

Would love to go to a store and get the OPs deal, especially if I could ask them to take my money, then give me a month or so for delivery - anyone had experience delaying deliveries of this nature? It's just too big even for my fairly large size car.
they can delay delivery for out to a month if required.
I managed to get this for $4400. Just got it delivered and it does come with stand in a separate box. I was after the Sony A80J but can only find refurbished stock at $3800. First time spending that much on a TV, hopefully will not regret waiting on the new Sony A80K or even the A90J to drop in prices.

Hey @tof I got the same price of $4400. The deal became even better after using the 5% discounted JB gift cards.
I got this price at the Chadstone shopping centre JB Hi-fi.

With the information I was able to get buy it in store for $4,400 after I signed up for the $69 12 month phone plan for the $400 gift card.
Then I was able to get 3% off gift cards from AGL which isn't as good everyone here gets but it's something.

It is stunning, I replaced my 4K LED with this TV and I'm amazed at the clarity and the popping colours.
