  I'm sure this is very high quality, but there's no drink in my view that is worth this much coin. There's only so good something can taste. Probably more about wealthy people showing off what they can afford than genuinely being THAT good.

  Last time I went to Japan, wasn't really a drinker or collector, this post sparked my interest, bought a bottle of Hibiki for a friend, cost around $250 AU, just googled and found an auction where it went for $4,300

  I don't pay more than $300 for a bottle of whisky.
  It does not matter how good, rare or whatever it is.

  I don't think is worth the difference between a $200-$300 whisky and a $1400.
  It's more about status and showing off.

  Anyway got two bottles with the company card, hopefully is good.
