Bought some previously … I actually like them. Perfect for the hallway and toilet at night. It's bright enough to see what you need to .. but not bright enough that it wakes you up.

Battery life is awesome. Not sure if it's the full 120 days or not .. can't say i've measured .. but it's at least a month or two between charges. (depends on usage too).

Tempted to buy couple more … Do I need them? Probably not .. but I'd probably put them into other random locations lol

I've had mine for about 5 years now and the light is starting to flicker.

  • $11.50 shipping to Perth 🥲

    • Same to SA

  • Used to be $14?

Lol 2x eBay $45.70 vs $45.49 here. Shows this ain’t a great deal. Saved me an impulse buy

    These are great, would recommend.

  • I've had one for 5 years and it's unbelievable how long the battery lasts. Brilliant quality product

  • Hi Op any deals on Yeelight Arwen 550??

  • As a matter of interest. How long do they stay on for e.g. if one placed one in the bathroom, does it stay on for duration of or turn off regardless after xx seconds?

    • +1

15 seconds but it has on switch as well

      • +1

        @Borg
just to expand on this .. 15 seconds after movement stops .. so if you go to the bathroom and move around .. it will stay on.

If you sit down and don't move .. it will turn off .. so just wave your arm (like you just don't care) and it will care and turn on :p

        • Thanks. Simular timing as the Mi Motion-Activated Night Light 2 it seems. I have a few of those although I appreciate that the ones posted here are rechargable and smaller.

I bought these lights through this deal:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/698714 (early May)

And I still haven't received my order yet…
I sent an email a month (early June) after, to which the reply said it may be two months away, as there was no stock left.
I didn't mind waiting too much, as I don't need it quick. I followed this up earlier this month, however, no reply.
So now it's a little frustrating, especially as you've got new stock, and you are selling more of the same lights when you haven't even delivered to those who order more than 3 months ago?

Can OP please let me know what is going on?

I had an order ready to go and found the old post mentioned here with no followup on delayed orders. Shame as I needed these but no thanks. Existing orders should take priority.

I bought some lights from them too a year ago. One was DOA. They ignored my emails for weeks. The phone number they had was never answered and sending messages to the rep here were ignored.

While I like yeelight products whoever their Australian distributor here is has shocking customer service.

    • have you lodged any PayPal / bank disputes about not receiving the product ?

honestly .. if this company was so bad … there would be a crapload of negative votes like there are with other brands that get posted …

i think your case is a random one .. but it would be nice to hear what actually happens …

      Disclaimer:
      Am I affiliated? No
Have I purchased from Yeelight before? Yes

    • Same here. I've had to have the old thread unlocked so that I could post my comments. I haven't had any response from Yeelight.

Would be interested to hear why 3 months without postage.

Better lights available for this price, I got one previously on Amazon from recommendation off OZB

They did not honour their warranty. My unit defective, I emailed them three times and they didn't even get back to me.

They first say they will send replacement to me once they have stock. Three months passed I asked them again and that is when they didn't reply me even after three emails.

  • I just tried to call them, phone line doesn't work. Tried the chat box, says not available
