I bought one in April for $470 so thought this is a good price

Been really useful in Sydney in the cold soggy June and early July. Good performance at low temperature. Might be useful for those in NSW/QLD as more rain is predicted for the next few months

YMMV if you are mainly using in summer.

    Same here - I got one at $509 and I leave it on low overnight, almost fills up every night and gets rid of a LOT of condensation.

    It quite loud if in the same room on auto/high. On low its manageable but takes a few more hours to achieve desired humidity

  I have 2 of these running every night for 6+ months a year in my very damp house down here in Tassie and haven't had any condensation or mould in years. The power bill's a bit high though ¯_(ツ)_/¯
