Based on the listed available accessories, the V10 (2022 model with Motorbar Head and no Fluffy Head attachment) is an upgrade over the V10 Animal (with Direct Drive Head) but it has less accessories compared to V10 Absolute+ (with Direct Drive Head) at the same price

      Mine did have the battery fail after 2.5 years.. but they still honored the warranty and repaired it.

      My D35 from 8+ years ago still works perfectly today with the original battery! (last about 10 mins)

      I got the V10 on release. Its been more than 3 years and still running strong with no issues and the battery performance has not degraded noticeably at all. The xiaomi one I bought for my parents had a dead battery in just over a year. You get what you pay for i guess

      I abuse my V6 hoping it would die so I can buy a V10 or higher model. The bin emptying method on V6 is crap, but it's lasted sooo long. Had a $30 ebay battery replacement on it a few years ago. This thing just won't die………

        Truth be told, I caved on a V8 just a month or two ago. Emptying the bin on the V8 is so satisfying. Although I worry it may break one day, as it’s quite violent.

        My 3yo gets the V6 to vacuum with me ;)

          I have a V8 too, it's just so much better than the v6 in terms of quietness and the bin emptying feature, but yeh it's been awhile but still going strong. These things are terminators lol

    Why would you get this and not from the Dyson eBay store? Seems like the one on the eBay store gets your far more for the same price

      V10 Absolute+ from their Dyson eBay store comes with Direct Drive head while this deal comes with Motorbar head. Same amount of accessories as the V10 Animal but less than V10 Absolute+ if you prefer the Motorbar head

      As @Bargainsgrabber, the Motorbar is included with this model. For clarity, that is the newly introduced floor head which has anti tangle vanes on it to remove long hair that would've otherwise tangled. If you have a majority of hard-floors, or nobody in the house has long hair the Absolute+ is still your best option, however if you have people with long hair shedding around the house, the Motorbar head on the new option is much lower maintenance.

    Thanks! It looks like it comes with the hairscrew tool as well. This suits us much better for long hair /long fur than the V10 animal deal.
