  Thoughts on whether worth upgrade from gh5? Mainly shooting interviews and event video. The autofocus sounds super tempting but the lens lineup will be a big step down from m43

  Or would a A7C be better?

    Considering that you can claim the EF adapter for free, lens lineup should not be an issue. Other than the fact that A7c is full frame, the Canon R7 has more pro features, such as dual UHS II slots, important if you are doing pro jobs. The A7c has only one!

  A7C, full frame, better sensor - low light, dynamic range, lot of lens options

  R7, faster (15 fps mechanical), ibis, 4k 60p, dual card slots, better ergonomic, better evf and lcd, but limited native lens. If you have canon ef lens, use adaptor, can do the job.

  looks similar price body only, depends on what you want to do and if you already have canon ef lens

    I doubt you can get an a7c body around this price, except when price error happened like the other week. Retailers are not keen to do discount without able to get replacement because Sony suspended production of a7c due to chips shortage.
