    This is low cost model doesn't have "Cinetic technology" (which eliminates the need for filters). It also doesn't have a motorised head.
    It's good price though, and a great entry level Dyson.

      May I just clarify - these DO have a motorised head.

      May I also add, that these are slightly smaller than their old uprights and also have slightly less suction power. Still heaps more than the cordless ones IN NORMAL OPERATION. Note that the new cordless ones do advertise having super powerful suction (admittedly even more suction than the UP16) but that's in their BOOST modes which are only good for a few minutes.

      AFAIK, the big balls are their only current models that have that really powerful suction that are constant.
