      No battery with a crappy mp3 player to go to your car (that has no mp3 playing or bluetooth capabilities) is likely to be lithium. TOTALLY different demographic.

  I just bought it and it is high quality and worth the dollars, the compressor for pumping Tyres up is pretty good, I mean it aint a thumper or anything like that, but perfect for around the house stuff.

  The JRX one though has way more features and appears to be good value I just don't know the quality of them.

      hmmmm if your using this powerbank thing wouldnt the last thing you'd want to do is turn on the radio so you drain more power from your car that cant start (thats why youd be whipping out the powerbank - to start it??)

      Im all for having a bit of a dance around the car, but doing that whilst you car battery is flat is prob not the best idea

  ugh. hate these lead acid battery jumpstarters with short leads. i know it's meant to be compact, but this thing is going to be heavy - you want to leave it on the ground, not lift it up and find somewhere in the plastic-covered engine bay to rest it on while you jumpstart said car.

    If you have 5+ cars, they are useful for the weekly "run up", because maintaining that many actual batteries is work and expense.

    Outside of that, I just carry one of those $99 lithium jump packs; works well the two times I needed it.

      i love my sca old school jumpstarter. nice long cables (good quality cables and clamps). the original batteries conked out after 9 years so just bought another two and hooked them up inside the case. i also use it to top up the battery in my other car since i don't have a power point in the car port for a proper battery charger.

        Yeah, all my old jumpstarters have long had their SLA's swapped for LiFePo4 packs.

        Much better, and still SLA charge profile compatible :)
