  I see what you're saying but these glass fermenters are 8L and I'd assume better quality than cheap Kmart ones. If you want 2 or want to go in with a friend it only costs $22 for the fermenters so not a bad deal really for a glass fermenter.

    It's literally a glass fermenter marked up
    The Kmart ones are fine for kombucha, i'm not sure what quality you'd be looking at to be 4 x more expensive.
    (You can get an 8L one for $20 FWIW and you don't have to buy 2 of them)

the tap is made of steel and plastic attachment not good. Best just good quality bottle without the tap. i bought the made in Italy big glass jar.
