Almost half price for the usual rrp these go for.
Might also add the 600 can be had $26.68
But is under the $39 threshold so you will need to pay for shipping.

What are they advantages of a high-end mechanical pencil? Better spring and mechanism?
This may be a stereotype but i think this is more marketable towards artists and architects, who always love nice stationery.
Apparently this one can retract the head so it goes into the barrel and doesnt make holes or draw on your shirt pocket, and the tip has a very narrow point so it makes it easier to see when you're drawing lines (more precise)
Functionally its still just a pencil, but dayum its fancy as heck and expensive
Thanks, that's really interesting! Will have to mention to the wife
Oh and probably more reliable so John Wick can kill more people without it breaking
flex on your colleagues
You could get a pretty good leadholder for this sort of money - eg a Koh-i-Noor Hardtmuth - so honestly I would struggle to justify this given that a Uni Kuru Toga is every bit as functional and is $5 from Officeworks.
Kuru Toga—while that crazy mechanism works (eventually mine give out), that's gotta be one of the finest pencils out there
Bragging rights…. imho there are better looking ones out there. I personally prefer a mechanical pencil that takes 2mm leads. It just feels more mechanical and much nicer to write with. Closest thing to a high quality actual pencil
Well first obvious one is, if you remember to retract this it should last you a life time.
Second, more importantly for me,Weight and weight distribution is another reason this one feels great (tho personal choice tho).
And they are really well made, you just need to feel it and use it to appreciate.
But also that also depends on your experience. I loved mechanical pencils since secondary school/high school. I always bought the pencils I truely loved and used for a long time. Still have some of them.
You either have a connection or you don’t on many cases. It’s like many high end stuff I guess. If you have an appreciation for the genre, you will appreciate this one too.
thanks, will go well with my rotring 600 pen
Wow now I have another word to describe my little friend.. retractable….
Can anyone tell me about 600 vs 800?
The only difference is a retractable tip. The 600 doesn't have this but most people usually push down the button and push it the lead when they are done if they want to carry it around.
Some complaints of the 800 has been because of this feature it creates more wobble in the tip due to the moving parts.
Thank you. Since I'm Work From Home most of the time, looks like 600 might be the one for me. Thanks for posting this, BTW
I am sure your home has floors and 600 tips are great at finding and impacting the floors and destroying the only weak point of the pen.
That said, with 800 I often forget to retract it anyway. So Same same
I bought a seven-dollar pen because I always lose pens and I got sick of not caring. ~ Mitch Hedberg
Damn if only their 4 in1 would ever go on sale
Love that pen!
Damn this makes me want to buy a back up for my 37 other pens and I already have a 800… great deal. Especially considering even on prime day it was $42 and pencil prices have skyrocketed recently
$40 for a mechanical pencil… what's wrong with a classic Pentel 205 for $10?
Pentel P200 Series Auto Mechanical Drafting Pencil - Set of 4 (1 of Each) - 0.3/0.5/0.7/0.9mm https://amzn.asia/d/9qgMcNA
$23 for 4 Pentel pencils
I've had a few for 50 years now, very nice. I don't like retractable tips.
good deal, i prefer the pen version though. been my daily pen for ages now and waiting for another deal on the silver pen version.
