No offence taken! I didn't actually look at the Hut's recommended price (as they can often inflate their RRP's) but I did a quick search for Alexander McQueen t-shirts and came up with some links that gave me an idea of how t-shirts from this range normally cost:

it's all a matter of perceived value. Just like how nike shoes don't cost $100+ to manufacture but i buy them anyway.
There's a difference - a good Nike running shoe is a work of wonder and it takes a runner to appreciate it. A branded t-shirt is just overpriced.
haha 'work of wonder'. I'm sorry. Nike shoes are good (in fact they're the only running shoes i wear), but they are not that great. Overpriced? Sure. Worth it? You bet. Want to know how much they actually cost? Talk to the hand.
The correct running shoe (brand irrelevant) is important. To correct pronation, heel stability, so forth.
Despite the pittance they cost to make, a correctly fitted running shoe has a health related benefit (or rather, when you have a problem, you'll wish you'd been running in the correct shoe).
Fashion… on the other hand.. maybe a mental benefit, for those so affected. But whilst I'm comfortable paying for a properly fitted shoe, I wouldn't pay much for this shirt.
PS: A proper shoe fitter will let you run up and down the building, watch you for pronation, heck - they'll put you on a treadmill and take video with a webcam then play it back in slow motion. There aren't many of them, and only one in WA that I know of (The Running Centre). The Athelete's Foot staff are mostly not properly trained, IMHO.
When you take into account the amount of money spent on R&D, marketing, brand positioning etc, the price is well justified for good running shoes.

LOL @ the shipping options for the Tee - 0.99GBP for Intl standard shipping or 64.99GBP for Intl tracked delivery. Think I'll take the chance.
