    If I recall correctly, the game received poor reviews due to the high amount of microtransaction required.

  Avoid, it's basically an F2P game with a "full game" price tag.

  Lots of content locked behind battle passes and premium currency, as well as just an overall general lack of content.

  Such a shame as I was really looking forward to this. Loved the original.

    Yeah I was really excited about a sequel until I saw the reviews. Not sure if I want to support this mobile business model

    I bit the bullet and pre-ordered… loved the original so much so obviously I had a lot of expectations.

    Sad to say I can not recommend this game to anyone ESPECIALLY if you loved the original PSX version.

  There’s a free to play version available digitally, I’d recommend downloading that first and trying out before committing to buying this.

  I was going to buy this on release, and playing that version was enough to help me decide that it wasn’t worth paying for the micro transactions in addition to the actual cost of the game.
