Does anyone know if these are typically alright past their expiry date? Probably would only eat one a month or so, so it'd end up being 8 months over.Guessing it'd probably be fine?
@snoopydoop: Likely it will be a best before date (Amazon just says expiry date for everything), so should be fine for a bit. Might want to eat 2 or 3 a month though so they don't go too far over.

@I Smell Pennies: Yep, Califia is a great brand! That was our preferred milk anyway so was really stoked with those six packs. Tastes great in coffee.
Some of ours is moving to a 2-3 months past its date, still totally fine but was thinking of storing the unopened ones in the fridge soon to give them a little more longevity. I think I read they can usually last around 6 months past expiry in many cases anyway.
I suppose you could also freeze it if you had a lot!

Hey @Leho - It's always great to see community tools shared, and there's always plenty of room for more! I'm not here to step on anyone's toes.
FWIW, I've been running @the_grocers out of pocket for the last 9+ months to provide ozbargainers (and myself) with hopefully useful stock notifications, and am pretty happy with how it's pulling in the various expiry/condition/stock levels/per unit pricing/rrp/restocks etc. that aren't always immediately obvious and available.
It was setup initially as a Twitter bot as notifications from there fit into my workflow the best at the time (and had nice advantages such as chained threads giving useful historical context). The situation over there has unfortunately made it a lot more difficult to run lately, so I'm doing my best to keep it running in whatever form is most useful for the people here. I'm always open to suggestions and happy to incorporate any feedback (such as also providing a telegram stream) that I get, and I understand that Mastodon has a few quirks that makes it a little less easy for people to jump onto than the Twitter implementation originally provided.
@SirCrumpet: yeah haha, I wasn't mad or anything, I would much rather see 500 monitors instead of 1. I do really appreciate your bots, and the Twitter api closure is so stupid, so the move was very understandable.
