    • I had mine filtered price low to high so I didn't even notice it went, do you think someone actually bought it or Amazon finally got sick of listing it? I truly hope no Ozbargainer bought it 😅

I got eBay to price beat an Amazon scam seller for [LEGO Creator Optimus Prime 10302] and was about to tell all of you but the seller shortly disappeared from Amazon so I couldn't. The seller was selling heaps of other lego for over 50-70% off RRP.

Anyways I got 3 of the Optimus Primes for $140 each after discounts and coupon.

Have a lookout for new sellers selling super cheap [too good to be true] stuff on Amazon - eBay will price beat 5% (discount up to $150) any listing on Amazon.com.au. Chat with eBay and ask before making the purchase and they will process it live while on chat

    • +1

      nice tip

    • +1

Holy shit this could be huge

      • I know. Last year I was hunting some pokemon for my brother's birthday and saw some seller selling Pokemon boxes for $99, quickly went on eBay (they were selling around $250). Asked eBay to price beat and they gave me a $150 coupon voucher after making the purchase on eBay. You have 3 months to use the voucher…
        https://pages.ebay.com.au/buy/Best_Price_Guarantee/

        • Oh it's not direct discount? You just get a voucher? Or depending on the discount?

          • @SuBw00FeR: Quickly cancel the order and reoreder?

          • @SuBw00FeR: Sadly no, it's a discount on your next purchase. So if you have nothing to buy within 3 months, it may not be worth it.

But if you know a family member or friend, you can buy each other's stuff to redirect the credit to your bank lmao (do this during no fee promo sales) - this is actually legal

People who know the seller – such as family members, roommates, or employees – can't bid on that seller's items, but they can use options like Buy It Now that don't involve bidding.

    • Yep did it with a third-party seller on Kogan for a G502. Wasn't too steep of a discount though.

Pretty sure eBay reps are based off-shore so they wouldn't know better.

Nostril, were those scam listings on sale, or did they appear to be "normal price"? My experience is that they don't match sale items. i.e. normal price crossed out and discounted sale price written instead.

Wouldn't mind $150 off a new iPhone hehe

      • It had the -XX% off in red on Amazon.

All 3 agents happily did it no questions asked

        • +1

Damn eBay Muzeeb did me dirty.

Could have saved 10 more dollars.

    • What this is a thing lol… do you need to buy it first or what? How does the transaction would/start.

      • +3

eBay's price beat is more of price protection where normally AFTER you have purchased an item you can message a Muzeeb and they will price beat by 5%. The only thing is you get the difference in the form of a coupon code kinda like Amazon credit. 3 month expiry.

What pennies did was before purchasing the item, you would check whether Muzeeb is willing to price match the scammer's listing and if yes, you can go through with the transaction via Muzeeb. Then Muzeeb will give compensate you the difference.

fyi: Muzeeb = Customer Service Rep

        • I love this explanation lmao

Reason why I check with them first is because I don't want to buy it only for them to say "no" and I have to return the item

        • +1

The problem is that the eBay coupon they supply is not stackable with anything.

So you can't use it with the monthly eBay Plus codes etc - you have to use it on a full price item. This is a deal breaker unless you can find something on eBay at a great price with no codes in the next 90 days.

    • Mmm is it common to have scam sellers on Amazon? So they'd list something cheap, take your money and not ship out the item?

      • Strangely happens with quilton toilet paper all the time

      • Pretty much. I see it all the time. Not all the newbies are scammers, but those who sell at insanely low prices

Wonder how long it will take for mbappe to stop eyeing off the razer mouse in the default grocery link view…

  • Do you guy's get many of these "Package is lost and will not be delivered. Please contact Amazon for the next steps." ?

    • +1

I think I've only ever got one. I ordered a cold brew jug that was smashed in transit. The entire order was cancelled and I had to reorder everything.

    • +3

Never, and I've ordered a lot.

    • +1

      a few. very rare

    • Have had 3 of those in 3 weeks
What pee's me off is that they have all been Amazon Warehouse Insufficient Quantity Deals.

      • +1

Maybe when they've gone to pack your item they've discovered the item is no longer in a condition fit for sale?

        • All have been :-
"Out for delivery Pinkenba , AU"
          Then a day later
"Delay in delivery due to external factors Pinkenba , AU"
          Then about 5 days later
"Package is lost and will not be delivered. Please contact Amazon for the next steps." ?

@chrisie: Sounds more like an issue with the Flex drivers?? I try to have stuff sent to my PO Box so I rarely have to deal with the Flex drivers. It is slower but it's more reliable I think.

            • @ozbs25: Yes
Most times I have not had a problem with the flex drivers never get the same one twice tho.

              • +1

@chrisie: Maybe that came across wrong. Not saying they did necessarily did anything untoward. All of the Flex drivers I've had contact with have been pretty good.

    • i have a few times now. Very annoying
Does anyone know if u get compensation or replacement?

      • Just ask on chat for compensation they should give you $5.00

  • For all lovers of Brie, this grocery is for you.

Good god i thought u were talking about cheese :(

      • +1

Its now oos though so someone was hungry for this grocery deal.

At least it had some vague tie into groceries and made a little more sense than the xbox series s did.

What's wrong with eating a Xbox?

  • Segway Ninebot 23.04.0000.02 S Pro White, Used - Like New, $698.46 (1 only) (New $1,199 @ Amazon) 8 |

Maybe cheaper than $1,199 elsewhere but I don't think you'll beat the Like New price.

  • Couldn't help myself bought the "Special K $3.20" tried them today I swear the Coles "Corn Flakes" I buy for $1.90 taste better than the "Special K" from Amazon Warehouse.

    • +1

It's not as crunchy as normal corn flakes. I still have a box that I might throw into the compost.

      • Yes your right it being not as crunchy.

  • +1

Got my first cancellation this morning, it was two orders. No ramen coming my way.

    • +2

Amazon Warehouse are not real great on their stock take .

      • I was surprised because a lot of people in this thread said they've had orders cancelled but none of mine had been cancelled. Until this morning when two orders were cancelled. Yesterday I cancelled my prime membership as well. Amazon algorithm probably cancelled my orders out of spite.

        • It knows

          • @TooSerious2: I should have cancelled amazon prime after receiving this lot of orders. If I see my items appear in stock again, I'll know it's the AI fecking with me.

  • Kellogg's Special K, Breakfast Cereal, 535g has had a price increase from $3.20 to $3.34 today.

Another one. I got it for $2.87 on 20/9.

      • Super inflation at Amazon Warehouse :)

    • "D.Jays Gourmet Sliced Biltong Mild Pepper 120g, 10 x 1400g"
Look at that just didn't add up. If its 120g packet how do you get 10x1400g ???

      • Yeah either way it's a price error

        • Logically, you'll get 10 x 120g, are you already planning to hit up customer rep about it? ahaha

          • @CodeXD: If I don't get 14kgs of beef, no other option

      • They’ve probably eaten a beefy comma. It probably should write:
        “ D.Jays Gourmet Sliced Biltong Mild Pepper 120g, 10 x,1400g”
The whole 10 packs weighs 1400g: product plus packaging.

    • damnit I missed it again :(

    • Mine was cancelled last week. Good luck!

      • How can your order get cancelled for lack of stock, but then the same item goes on sale again? Amazon playing games.
