I buy a lot of things that are repackaged or with damaged boxes or whatever.
I bought a board game "Used - Like New". It came with the shrink wrap already torn off. All the cards inside had already had all the shrink wrap torn off those. I had to count all of the cards to make sure they were all there. They were not. Since then I've been hesitant to purchase board games Used - Like New.
What do you guys think? If someone bought a board game tried it out and didn't like it and put everything back in and returned it in immaculate condition with all the parts there, do you think it should be classed "Used - Like New"? Do you think someone took the change of mind returns thing too far?
@ozbs25: I think whoever listed it shouldn't have said Used - Like New. I'd have returned it if it wasn't complete and in like new condition.
@Tyrannosaurus Rex: I did say to the customer rep that dealt with the refund that I don't blame the person who listed it. If by Amazon's grading Used Like New can include games with the shrinkwrap missing as long as the game is complete then I guess it did look Like New. Condition seemed like new. It looked exactly like the picture on the listing. Problem was not all the cards were there. I don't think they have the time to count all the cards. I mean there were a tonne of cards in there.
My opinion I guess it should be similar to clothes that are returned without tags, or look like they have been tried on. If the shrinkwrap is not intact then it should at the very least be dumped down to very good and state that the shrink wrap has been removed.

My first post here. :-) I have been keeping eye on Macbook Pro deals M1/M2/M3 and finally purchased this. Only 4 stocks left as at 15-Dec 7 am. From my research, M1 with good RAM is good enough for most tasks .. M3 Pro has little bit edge on 4K video editing etc but thats not my use case for now.
Thats expensive considering its M1. Equivalent to 1K windows laptop i guess.

It is lower at JB, but no stock. It was even lower ($1900 for 512GB & $2200 for 1TB) during blackfriday but still wasn't able to buy. Don't know why they still have the product page up.

I have M1 mackbook pro(renewed) just like new and has extended warranty from Jbhifi till 2028. Bought for 2200. I have used it once.. lol. Cant get used to mac. Should I sell it for 1800?

Did you get JB's cover or Apple Care? Seems the price is similar, but I wouldn't touch JB's "extended warranty" (just knowing how dodgy retailers' "extended warranty" can be) - telling you in case you can still resign.
The said even if a key stops working you can get a replacement, I was sold. I have JBhifi extended warranty on everything I buy from them.
@lostboy: I wouldn't trust "them" saying things, and wouldn't pay for any extra cover from merely a retailer (ie. not the manufacturer), which covers are built only to get money off you on the spot - like all those extras that JetStar shoves down your throat when you just try to finalise purchasing a ticket. but I do hope you checked the papers for it and it's all good.
It's just that Apple has its own, probably more trustworthy, cover; potentially at a similar price.

It's not an M1 processor, it's the M1 Pro.
There isn't all that much difference between the M1 Pro and the M3 Pro considering:
* The M1 Pro has more performance cores than the M3 Pro (8 performance cores in M1 Pro vs 6 performance cores in M3 Pro)
* Most workloads don't utilise the extra efficiency cores in the M3 ProI think this is a good deal, but not a great deal

It's not an amazing deal, but also not a horrible one. The 16GB RAM with the M1 Pro chip is more useful for lots of users compared to a M3 (non-pro) chip with 8GB RAM.

@pizzaguy: 8GB of RAM on the M series Macs are still quite usable. Many would have no issues with it. I just like having many app, and hundred of tabs open at the same time. LOL
Yeah, that machine is probably just a part of the pricing strategy. Once you've accepted the 2699, another 300 is much easier. Realistically, they should probably just start at $2,999.
