Cheapest price ever?
Great CPU for the price and will suit a vast majority of use cases.

Isn't this an APU?
Yes, the "G" models are APUs
Fun fact: the AMD designer of the 5600G was a Simpsons fan and named it after Apu from Kwicky Mart
Decent price for the cpu - unless you need the integrated graphics $30 more will get you the 5600, a very decent gaming CPU
Apparently you're right; the amd marketing department coined a new term for their latest "cpu with integrated graphics" product.
So… Yeah. Not called a cpu but is a cpu… Thanks
@reloxation: Thought Apu got cancelled
@eediot: Nah, only me for stating facts
@eediot: Thank you, please come again
@eediot: You're correct, "APU" got discontinued (I believe with Zen) and now they're called "AMD Ryzen™ Desktop Processors with AMD Radeon™ Graphics" if we're trying to be specific. Nowhere on the product or series page is "APU" mentioned.
Everyone in the tech media still calls it an APU because that was AMD's marketing for them pre-zen and everyone knows that's what it means, but it's not official so it seems @reloxation is misinformed.
@reloxation: The APU disambiguation page provides a decent summary
Accelerated processing unit, or advanced processing unit, marketing term from AMD for a microprocessor that includes a CPU and a GPU within a single chip
almost worth upgrading my 3400g
any intel cpus on special?
Intel Gamer Days start from 25th August, wait for that
if only all ryzen cpus were monolithic
ozbargain mentality right here
'just downvote cause someone else did'
lmao
Why do you care if the CPU is monolithic?
Higher fclk, lower latency
Dropped so much (profanity)
Yes it's a lot but I was building with this last year and the CPU prices was in the mid-high 200s. It's quiet and boring little CPU (with Graphics) which does suit most tasks except high end gaming (for which you'd use a better specced CPU, dGPU and motherboard).
Code expired for non ebay plus user
This should be good for a basic media pc without the need for a dedicated GPU. I think it can do 4k@120hz.
Oh man I should of HODL. Purchased this last week from eBay at $231.57. Bugger, oh well.
Oh had me excited, then realised was the G version.
