Does anyone know any Australian websites or overSeas sites that would sell electrical bicycles that are not expensive? Iv checked eBay and few sites but not many types or to expensive.

You can get those recheargable things for items like GPS's, Phones etc. So if your on your way to work and your phones flat go into the lowest gear, look like an idiot. and pedal like an idiot.
Best value is to buy a kit and convert a suitable bike, maybe one you already have.
You get a new front wheel of the right size (hub motor), controller kit and batteries.
Lead-acid gel cells are cheapest but heavy. Li-Ion are light but $$$ and limited shelf life. What budget?
Have done some looking into this, ironically small petrol powered units are cheaper, and give more flexibility. Not as eco friendly but might help.
Now if only there was a simple & cheap unit that recharges when you cycle so that when you reach those hills it can be used, but you use pedals on the flat. There are some but they aren't cheap
