whirlpool bros with $2000 HM chairs have entered the chat

My $2000 HM chair is better.

      Your chair is imaginary.

I got this exact chair the last time it was $250. I'm 2m tall and it fits me ok when it's at its full height. Pretty comfortable and solid construction.

    • +1

Worth the money in your experience?

      • +3

I wfh one day a week and have a sit stand desk that I stand at for half the day. Worth it for the 4 hours I use it a week!
I'm sure a $500 chair would be better but I'm happy with this one. Doesn't feel cheap at all.

        • +2

          This is 400 rrp

    • I can't seem to determine if the seat cushion is PU or fabric. Care to share what material yours is made of?

      • Material

      • It's fabric. Used mine since Feb last year and has held up very well.

        • thanks, Halsmich , grasspun, RandomBob84

      • Def fabric.

I used this during the last lock down. Have this and cheaper blitzwolf and for about $60 more when they are both on sale very with it. Almost 1 year old now and still excellent condition

    Smartphone deals please : )

  • this or Ikea markus? TIA :D

    • -2

      sarcasm noted

these generic chairs out of china rarely lasted me 12 months

markus must be on its 4th year and it still looks new, 6 years warranty left, and comfort is levels ahead of the 5 or so generic i've gone through over the years, hell it rivals the 2k aeron i had at work

  • Has anybody on the shorter side (5"8 - 5"9) had experience with this chair? About to build a home office and was looking at second-hand higher end brands, but am happy to save the money (and the trip to get it) if people have found this suitable.

    • +1

I duno what 5"8 is but I'm 172cm and it's just right on lowest point. I tried to upgrade to the roller blade wheels but those ended upakimg the chair too high so I changed back to the stock wheels.

Overall it's ok I wished it was just a tad lower

    • Yep, I’m 172cm and actually sold mine because i found it was a tad too large for me. I had to use a footrest on its lowest height and just found it too bulky for my liking in general but YMMV. Other than that it seemed good quality and had fantastic ergonomic adjustments. Currently using an Ikea Matchspel gaming chair.

    • Big torso small legs people also

blitzwolf ergonomics and durability with questionable warranty (ie none) or ikea markus ergo, durability with a legit 10 year warranty

    tough decision

you could sell this chair for $50 and i reckon the ikea markus at $279 is still better value

    • You talk about Blitzwolf ergonomics when you can't even adjust the arms on the Ikea chair, and it looks like you can only adjust the tilt of the back and base as one? Okay.

      • you can have adjustable everything, doesn't make it any better if the quality is subpar

    • ikea markus does not have adjustable armrests which puts it in a completely separate category

  • +3

Don't rate this. Bought one and the back piece wobbles constantly after 6 months.

  • -2

I have the same model. The mesh seat is a joke. In less than 6 months it became loose, and now its like sitting on bottom plastic. Forget about warranty statements.

    • +2

Doesn’t have a mesh seat though. Did you have the HOC-4 perhaps?
