Owned several pairs of Florsheims for more than 10 years with only sole and heel changes. Well worth the 100 plus bucks. But mine were from before they started producing them in China so hopefully quality has not suffered.
It has. My most recent pair are falling apars, literally at the seams. Stitching around the toe is breaking apart on both shoes and the rubber sole is detaching from the both shoes as well. I've had them for a few years but didnt wear them for 2 years during covid
If you are going to spend over 150 on mens dress shoe, might as well pay more for a goodyear welt
