This is a good question and while I don't have the pixel buds I do have the galaxy buds. The difference in quality is the noise cancelling, the microphones (I was walking down beside a highway and my friend couldn't hear the cars), sound quality is better, battery life is consistent, connects first time everytime and switches between my multiple devices with ease.
My friend bought some $50 Bluetooth buds from ebay and had issues connecting all the time.
Would you say they are 5x better than the $50 set though?
I tried to do it a second time before posting (had to wait 410 minutes to generate and then make sure it wasn't corrected) and it was invalid.

No it makes them $254.15 with $25.42 to use within X days. Google Store isn't like Amazon/eBay/etc credit, there's only a small number if items to chose from. It's not like you'll find a $25 item you'll want So you'll have to buy something else. And then get more store credit.
If they gave you PlayStore credit, that'd be different.
