Helldivers is one of my favourite twin stick shooters. Can be brutally hard at times but extremely fun, especially the multiplayer co-op. It's got a real Starship Troopers vibe.

HELLDIVERS is a hardcore, cooperative, twin stick shooter. As part of the elite unit called the HELLDIVERS, players must work together to protect SUPER EARTH and defeat the enemies of mankind in an intense intergalactic war.
HELLDIVERS Dive Harder Edition is a free upgrade for all existing owners and include:
A NEW GAME MODE: "Proving Grounds". Take on challenging missions with unique modifiers.
NEW loadout system with random- and favorite-loadout options
All previous expansions (A New Hell, Masters of the Galaxy, Turning Up The Heat and Democracy Strikes Back).
Up to 4 player local and online co-op on STEAM.
Full friendly fire - “accidentally” kill your friends, again and again.
Direct the full might of the military with a wide variety of Support Stratagems.
Community-driven galactic campaign.
A universe of worlds to liberate.

  • What's twin stick?

Twin stick shooter is a type of game played from an isometric or top down perspective that uses one stick on the gamepad to aim and the other to move.

Usually of the action survival genre. Geometry Wars is another recently popular one, or Smash TV and Robotron: 2084 if you like the classics.

A sub genre of shmups. One stick on the controller to move, other to shoot.

Top down view with 360 movements.

I'd buy that for a dollar!

Can be had quite a bit cheaper off Kinguin or G2Play; $2.92 on those sites. Eneba, Gamivo and the rest of them sit between the $3-$4 mark.

      Thanks have updated.

Kinguin is known as dodgy. Not sure about the others

      • True. I've personally had positive experiences with all/most of them, definitely YMMV since it is a somewhat open marketplace.

Yep I bought a key off Kinguin and when it didn't work they couldn't give two s**ts

      • I've bought 20 keys of Kinguin with no issues. Friends have easily bought another 20 with no complaints.

          Congratulations.

Your experience does not mean they weren't stolen keys, purchased using stolen cc or that you would have received any real support from kinguin if things went bad.

          • @justtoreply: All I did was share my experience.

I feel like that's a step above vague generalizations about what is 'known'.

I also made no comment of the support or source of the keys purchased, but they did help me via support same day with the one question I had.

            • -2

@Darkheartz: It's only vague because i wasn't going to look up kinguin threads on ozb. I don't have hours to put into that.

  • Is it active on PC online?

  • How bout a cup of Liber…tea!
