Free Veeam Long Sleeve T-Shirt Delivered (Company Email Required) @ Veeam

14611

The free t-shirts are back at Veeam as part of their VMware Explore 2022 event. As usual these require use of a company email address (no Gmail, Yahoo etc) and there's a good chance that not everyone will receive one. I personally received an email about this offer from my Veeam account manager so you're more likely to get it if you work for an IT related company or your workplace is a Veeam customer.

Upon registration you'll be emailed a link to get the t-shirt. It took about 20 hours for me to receive the link so here is a direct link to the order page.

Stated delivery time is 8-10 weeks. Good luck!

Not even worth making the effort to end up with nothing.

    • Don’t use .com.au just .com

  • +30

This exact same promotion last year scooped up my personal information without so much as even a confirmation email, let alone a free T-Shirt. I hope Veeam goes bankrupt.

      • +9

Even with the direct link to the shirt… doesn't really mean anything. I'd rather not waste the time having to unsubscribe from their marketing emails again for, likely, nothing.

      • +11

        Oz-advertising much?
If you are associated click the link.

Anyway, the feedback from the others speaks volumes.

        • -2

I posted this full well knowing the response. Everyone should know I'll go for the joyride.

          • +1

@Clear: You posted a dodgy data harvesting deal, hoping for comments?

            • -1

@Jessie Ryder: A deal that gets fulfilled for those who are eligible. Many have got them and many haven't.

            • +6

@Jessie Ryder: Some others including myself have received the products before, just because you didn't get it previously doesn't mean this deal is dodgy

              • -5

@firestint: I believe the quote "Anyway, the feedback from the others speaks volumes." is relevant here to what you have just said :)

                • +2

@Clear: Are you saying then that you posted it as a deal knowing that its at best a competition if you dont know if you are going to get it or not and at worst its a data farming exercise posing as a comp / deal?

                  • -3

@lonewolf: Why bother replying? It's not going to change anything. Wait why am I even replying :/

              • +4

@firestint: I previously entered two separate offer/deals from Veeam that were posted here. Both signed up using my company email address. Both seemingly according to the T&C (if there was one), or the general information - I was eligible. I recieved nothing from either apart from marketing emails.

                I agree with Jessie.

    • If you didn't get a confirmation, you weren't eligible. It is not a competition.

  • +6

    Crappy shirt, not worth it.

    • Glad to know it was taken out of Russian hands long before the invasion of Ukraine. Though technically it was a Swiss company led by 2 Russians as opposed to being RU based like Kaspersky for example.

    • +1

The whole process was to be able to sell to US Govt..

  • How the heck now we get a company email address ??

    • +4

      work for one?

  • +8

Just more fake offers? Nothing ever arrived from previous offer(except spam), won't bother with this one.

    • +3

      Just more fake offers?

I've received my previous shirts and merch, so have others too.

      • walking advertising is not a deal

        • +2

… That's the argument you've decided to use now? Do you consider any product with branding on it a walking advertisement?

It's free. Use a spam email address. Backup phone number.

  • Thanks…ordered !!!

  • +1

FWIW, I got my previous shirts. Took months to come but they all eventually came.

  • +13

    never receive.

  • +4

Imagine selling your data for $10

    • +13

Jokes on them, they have my data from the last two shirts

  • I got the green short sleeve last time, quite a good quality shirt.

  • +1

I've received 2 shirts and a RC car in the past, always use my work e-mail address though, so… YMMV

  • +3

Got my long sleeve shirt from last time, good qualify and looks nice with the dragon on the back

  • Thanks OP. I need another one because my daughter liked the first one so much and 'borrowed' it on a semi-permanent basis!

  • I have some nice Veeam presents but never received the indoor basketball set from last year. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/660854

  • Good sleep shirt. Used TPG address.

    • -2

How do you get a TPG address? Available to TPG NBN customers?

      Unless you work for TPG

      • +1

If you have TPG internet. You get a TPG email address

  • I just used a disposable email address website and worked fine. Cheers.

  • +5

Haven’t received mine from the past deal(s)…

  • +1

Received soo much from these guys, two expo fun bags, two shirts and the RC car. Over my shirt quota this time…

  • +6

Never received my Veeam tshirt from past years.

  • I remember the sizing being a bit of a problem. Was it go up a size generally??

  • Got the remote toy car, 2x tshirts, getting another one now. Noice!

  • Thanks OP gave it a shot.

  • +5

Did this last time and didn't receive anything

  • +6

I have no idea what can trigger anyone to hit the "neg" button without even trying. Since this Veeam give-a-ways, I have received the following:

    • 4/5 long sleeves shirts
    • 0/1 jacket
    • 1/1 RC car

Sure, things do not get through 100%. But I got 4 out of 5 shirts. That counts a lot.

And for those complaining about getting spammed, guess what? I have not received any emails nor calls from Veeam or any of their agents. Want to know how?

Because the only thing I enter into the "details" section that is actually true is the shipping address. Everything else, name, telephone number and email address are all fictitious.

The email address, for instance, will "self-destruct" in 4 hours. The phone number exist but goes to a known Lenny number.

I believe that another OzBargain motto (followed closely by "Buy now, regret later") should be "Give it a try, you just might be surprised".

This thread do not deserve that many neg.

  • +1

I’ve done like 3 “free T-shirt” offers in the past and I never get the shirts. It’s all a scam to get your personal details with no compo.

    • If it's a scam then how come others have got it?

  • +4

As per others completed last time, received nothing more than spam emails

  • +1

make sure u order XXL they are all skin tight with very flaming colours too

    • Long sleeve is loose fit and black and green. Pic is in the link.

  • Last years was delivered to my old workplace a week after I changed jobs. Will use my home address this time…

  • +1

I actually received a T Shirt from the last offer. It took so long I forgot about it and was surprised to receive it. I don't even know what Veeam is or does.

  • +6

Never received the last one from the offer. Seems lots of people didn't either. Waste of time and not a bargain

    • -3

More people in this deal have said they've received it than those who haven't. The neggers aren't a majority here :P

  • I received a "pre-owned" (with a lot of visible signs of usage) remote control car from them last time :) Got it when I almost forgot about the order.

  • +4

I never received mine from last time either.

    • I did.

  • +4

Never got anything last time with the last offer.

    • +1

Still have not received anything, am the IT Manager of where I work lol

  • +3

    They never pay up.

  • I was able to register using my iinet webmail address, and an overseas address.

    • Did you get a confirmation email ?

  • +2

They lied about their promotion, not happy at all.

  • Received my redemption email (the one that points to shopepromos)

Have received shirts and rc cars in the past. I think there's just 1 shirt that never arrived.

  • Small, Medium, Large sizes OOS

  • Received an email saying that I do not qualify and that my order was cancelled (the last 3 times the orders were fulfilled).
