SIM from last Deal only arrived today.

    • How long did it take?

      • 8 days - lucky I didn't need it in a hurry.

        • +2

          8 days

          Did you try calling them?

        • +2

Was a popular Deal with over 1k clicks. So delay was to be expected.
Plenty of time to Activate (within 30 days for cashback).

          • @INFIDEL: If these SIMs don't come, can we just get a SIM card from a petrol station and activate using that

            • @adrianhughes1998: See previous Deals. Think that was mentioned as possible. But would have to contact Boost.

              • @INFIDEL: Ok I don't see why not as it's not a pre-activated Sim is it. Strange that they can't seem to send them out in time for some folks. I always get my Kogan SIMs within a week of signing up no issues

  • is there a max per account?

    • +1

We have one Max and one Tom on our account.

      • We have one Max Jerry and one Tom on our account

        • +3

We have one Jerry and one Tom

          Do they act Looney ?

This took nearly 3 weeks to come for me last time, was not impressed. Activate before 4 weeks sounds like we are pushing out luck to receive in time. Rang them and they said they would cancel the sim and refund me, which didn't happen in the end, and sim arrived the next day. Was really unimpressed with boost from a cs perspective

    • Sounds just like Telstra c.s. lol.

    Ordered it, thanks OP

    Thanks OP

  • A pity its not on all the plans. Can you buy this for the $30 plan and then change to the $40 plan the following month?

    • +1

Don't see why not as when credit expires, one tops it up. At that point, select to top up with $40.

      • Telcos always let you pay more if you want haha.

  • +1

Yeah can’t even activate mine. Support are useless. They want me to go into a shop to activate… wtaf?

  • +3

Haven't been able to order since the last deal. Error message: "Sorry. Can't process your order now. Please try later."
    Anyone has same issue?

    • +1

      I get that with activation

  • Gee whizz, between this and the belong deals I'll have had almost a full year of phone usage for free!

  • Mine hasn't arrived from the last deal yet here in Perth :/

Tempted to sign up for this but no dice if it doesn't even turn up !

This time I've got "Sorry. Can't process your order now. Please try later." - I've bought Boost SIM when previous CB bonus was on.

  • Did not receive the SIM after 30 days for the last deal, and submitted a TIO case to get the money back, really bad experience.

    • Why couldn't you just do a chargeback back with your bank?

    • Just need to contact Boost for refund, as advised above

      • +2

Their refund/return process is absolutely trash man,

heck 1. they cannot cancel order, they literally say you can CONTACT YOUR BANK TO CANCEL PAYMENT (As if bank just randomly allows customers to cancel transactions like a joke). They say payment is already completed, and at same time say payment is pending. Like seriously LoL!

        1. reaching them via Phone tells you a totally different (that someone will come to house to pickup the sim) than if you had contacted them via website (live chat that you send item back via australia post returns label)
        2. Gotta wait a while for them to receive the sim back
        3. Been told in past will get refund once they get sim back, But today called them by phone, TO be told that they will send a CHEQUE to the address (guy there had no clue what refund amount was), and been told 30 days to receive the cheque
Now going to see what the live chat says about this crap 30 day cheque delivery
        • "submitted a TIO case to get the money back" (what I replied to), requires complaining to Boost first. It's the first step in the process.

    Nice little bouncer, thanks

  • So the $10 is for the first 28 days only right? After that it reverts to the $30 for every 28 days?

  • +2

Had no issues getting the SIM from the boost deal last month. It arrived in only a few days after ordering. Surprised how quickly it came after reading all the horror stories here

  • Can you use this deal with a sim from the previous boost deal and keep the same number?

    • +1

It can't be used to recharge previous account to add credit to that number.

To keep previous number on new SIM would require porting out old number to another provider's SIM & back into the new Boost SIM.

  • Cannot activate. after ID is verified, i put in email address and home address, then click next and get the following error :

    Something went wrong
We’re unable to process your request at this time. Please try again later.

tried different emails, phones, computers, vpn, same message. 30 days is coming up on the 19 august

    Has anyone solved it ?

    • Contact Boost support on chat..

    • @kdmeir
Had the same problem for last couple of day. Called Boost today, they activated and ported my mobile number within 10 minutes.
