No Rewards Point for Using Credit Card to Repay Afterpay Purchase?

I checked my credit card statement and seems not all payment attract qantas points on my westpac qantas credit card.

No cash advance, no government payment in this month. I suspect it is after repayment?

As afterpay pulse rewards were quite disappointing recently, I am considering switch back to pay by CC directly if my assumption are correct.

(It seemed Bundll repayment has points)

Pretty sure I get points for paying with Afterpay on my Westpac Velocity credit card.

I've gone back to credit cards. Afterpay is lucky they got acquired otherwise they'd be in trouble.

Working fine on Amex.

Afterpay + amex feels like you are double dipping it's great. 8 weeks stretched out + the statement overlaps. If you time it right you can shift your expenses onto the schmucks who pay interest across almost 4 months.
